Re: Making Manga recommendataion thread.
Oh boy, manga rec thread?! Though, as a scanlator and big manga reader, I oddly don't have many manga that I'd really recommend to others. They all link to their mangaupdates page since it's a bit of a hassle to list every single genre/type/chapters/status.
I've read a lot more... but for the life of me i can't remember right now.

Plot Driven
Pandora Hearts: Kind of a mystery/action story. It revolves around Oz Vessalius, who was sent into hell-like world on his 15th birthday because "his very existence is a sin." There, he meets Alice, who helps him to escape. The plot revolves around him finding the secrets about the realm he was imprisoned in while he helps Alice to recover fragments of her memory.
Bakuman: This one's about a pair of friends trying to become professional manga artists. It's a rather lighthearted series with a good amount of humor and character development.
Ao no Exorcist: The story revolves around Rin Okumura, who's training to become an exorcist in order to kill his father, Satan. It has a diverse cast of good characters, and ample amounts of character development.
Romantic Comedies
Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa: This one is actually more plot driven than it is romantic, but the romance is a major part of the plot; however, I don't recommend it for those looking for an absolute resolution, as it is (very slightly) open ended.
Seishun Forget!: Great artwork and hysterical humor that sometimes makes fun of its own genre.
Tonari no Kashiwagi-san: The protagonist can be a bit irritating at times, but he's decisive when he needs to be, and he doesn't spend an ungodly amount of time hiding his crush on the heroin. The side characters are also pretty good, and have their own little story going along with the main one.
Sankarea: Another one that seems to be more plot driven than it is focused on romance, but it's definitely there.
Countrouble: The protagonist is contacted by an angel who basically wants to do nothing but troll his love life. Unbelievably funny, almost on the level of School Rumble in my opinion. Misunderstandings and communication failures galore! Recommend it to everyone.
Harems
Maga Tsuki: It's entertaining, though but the protagonist isn't too much different from a typical harem lead.
Trinity Seven: This one is really good. Mainly because the protagonist seems to actually know that he's in a harem, and flirts with the girls accordingly.
Sora no Otoshimono: A very refreshing harem lead, much like the one in Trinity Seven, but he can get very serious when the situation calls for it.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai: Not much of a harem really, since only about two of the girls seem to really want a serious relationship with him, but good god it's funny!
Nisekoi: Not really a harem yet, but it somewhat qualifies. It's extremely cliche, but still enjoyable none the less.

Re: Making Manga recommendataion thread.
(Romance) Hana Kimi (Hanazakari to Kimitachi e (For you in full blossom): Best romance manga you will ever read. Absolutely the best. It has no bullpomegranate around it, just a good old fashioned manga that keeps you interested the entire time. The art at the beginning is a bit old school but it gets a lot better over time. Absolutely worth a read. I especially like it because it's a high school based manga without the pineappleing high school drama. The love just seems much more realistic than the average high school romance manga. GAARGHGHSFH, just read it if you aven't and you're in to romance mangas (even if you aren't, it's funny).
(Romance) Special A:
Ranks second on my romance favourites. I must say it gets a tad annoying with the main girl being as dense as she is, but it's good. Again, it's not one of your average high school romance cliches but has more of a story to it (well, not that much of a story, but it's better than most romance mangas I come across).
Tsubasa reservoir Chronicle + xxxHolic:
I really enjoyed reading the both of these at the same time. Let me just say, this is one hell of a pineappleing mind pineapple with a gigantic slap in the face added after you reach a certain point of the manga. I had to read most of it several times to understand what the hell just happened. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle doesn't get really good until volume 15 (It's a long run, but before volume 15 it's still decent reading). After that you just get thrown into situation from situation and it feels like the road to volume 28 (last one) was a one volume read. xxxHolic I am fond of a bit less, but it's still a great read.
Didn't want to include storylines because I'm terrible when it comes to not spoiling everything in a synopsis.
