Yeah, XP was always reliable even over Vista/W7 sometimes, shame to see it go really.

I liked using windows XP as well. It was stable with a lot of software and hardware compatibility. Some people and companies won't try to switch over because the software they use just aren't compatible with windows 8. If people are still a fan of XP, they can probably find a decent way to run it under Linux. At least to keep most of the functions, usability, and simplicity of it. I've been reading up on that as well for future reference.
