So basically, it works like WoW's transmog right..?
And is the effect permanent?

I believe so. And you don't need to keep the item afterwards either.
I´m curious if a certain weapon can be changed into another. Like an empress two handed mace into a two handed axe or something.
The items must be the same equipment type
The item must be a: hat, eye accessory, face accessory, top, bottom, overall, shoes, gloves, cape, weapon, shield, or secondary weapon
The items can be for different classes
The items cannot be for different genders
After using the Anvil, you will keep the item that you used to define the appearance of the item and your other item’s stats will stay the same but its appearance will change, name will stay the same
The changed appearance will stay regardless if you drop, trade, or sell it
Going to hijack this thread because i've had questions about this item in my head today, which is a mighty coincidence to get home and find that someone beat me too it.
Anyway, so going by those rules, it would be possible to make say... a Maple Magician Shield look like a Dragon Khanjar? since they are both shields but used by different classes.
And can you use it on temporary items? for example, can you take the appearance of a one day item like the Mu Long Dojo gloves?
Since he pulled this directly from Max's blog, it saves me the trouble of finding it on there.
The bolded answers the first scenario and I don't see why the second scenario would be different from a normal trans-whatchamacallit. This is just based off what @HighOnMushrooms said though.
So I can enchant the beginner black bandana onto my Zakum Helm, and then...
Zakum Helmet
Untradeable

Zak helm's stats
+15 int
+150 w.def

potential etc.
Or does the item's image stay the same, but it appears changed on the character alone?
The big upside I'm seeing to this is that if I enchant a tradeable item, I can use it on all my characters, unlike Cash Shop items, which can only be used on all Adventurers. Still a pretty good thing.
Yes the icon for the item changes as well as the appearance.

i've seen in KMS fm people using this to turn cash shop items into regular equips. I'll logon to get a SS.
Orange line above potential is the number of stars added.

There will be a green line on the bottom of the item (completely bottom) that says that the Anvil was used to make this item look like a ____.
> uses item to make level 100 bowman overall look like level 90 bowman overall
Well played.
At present it looks like my plan is to log on various mules until I find either a Maplehontas or an old Maple Bandana, and put that on my helm.
[edit: actually, the Versalmas Hat is awesome. Yo.]
Need to find a good eye-accessory too.
on second thought I don't think these are items modded to look like CS items but items that have those looks by default. my bad.
Spoiler
Probably going to see lots of "Mark of Betas" floating around the first week :excellent:.
So damn happy I saved my invincible agent suit.
Of course, since I use top/bottom ill have to use a cheap cs overall. Any confirmation yet that this can be used on NX equips?
Knowing Nexon America, they'll let their greed destroy this lovely idea, by making the effect temporary, and probably making Anvils cost more than cash shop clothes, to boot.
