HOLY pomegranate CAN YOU JUST NOT
I was expecting something on the other spectrum.
:')
Why must you do this to me?!
Very nice, but it needs to be updated for modern games.
"This is a video game, no wait, pineapple that, it isn't 1080p with 60 FPS, I ain't playing that"
"This is a video game, it got 99 on Metacritic because EA paid off reviewers!"
"This is a video game, several hours spent playing a broken watered down game, and the memory of buying back parts of the game as DLC still brings a tear to your eye"
I actually think it's fine. I think the point is that every gamer will hold memories of certain games in their heart forever. Before DLC was rampant and gaming journalism literally exploded, there were still games that were impeccable (at the time) and then there were lemons. I think the same holds true today. The cool thing is that those memories transcend time in a way that many other media can't, because it's a culmination of art, style, music, graphics and sense memory all packed into a wonderful bundle of joy.
"This is a video game, oh its on the Wii U... forget it the Wii U is for kids so it has to suck"
