Re: Religions of Southperry
If we can't post our personal opinions, it isn't much of a discussion is it? You are right to give a warning though, i don't want this to turn into a flame war. (I think that the people here are slightly more mature than in other forums i've visited though)
My personal view is a strange one: I don't have the faith to believe in a religion, but i wish i did because i don't have anything to believe in, and it makes my life feel like a rather meaningless one.
Re: Religions of Southperry
Christian here but I'm a very loose one. I know that all I need to do is be caring to those around me and I'm good. Screw the rules, the bible is silly (imo). :I

Re: Religions of Southperry
Deist, personally. Or rather, it's the closest fit to what I believe.
Re: Religions of Southperry
I really need to stop denying the signs; I am god.

And god is me. So I'm guessing you're the other?
Re: Religions of Southperry
I believe in a superior being but I have no religion. I'd like to think of myself as a "secular".
I'm not sure what's the word in english for what I trying to say.
Re: Religions of Southperry
On paper I'm Christian, but I barely visit church. I do a quick pray every night though.
Re: Religions of Southperry
Agnostic here. Have been for as long as I can remember.
Re: Religions of Southperry
Agnostic like a boring fence-sitter. Prefer the idea of polytheism to monotheism if I must acknowledge religion at all though.
Re: Religions of Southperry
I'm a Christian too, but I'm not big on it either.
Re: Religions of Southperry
I don't have a religion. I'm not atheist because I believe in a greater force, yet I refuse to label my beliefs into a religion.
So i guess i'm a Paulyist.
Yet I was raised Christian.
Re: Religions of Southperry
Not Athiest.
I don't support organized religion but I like the idea of a creator and afterlife because it provides comfort which imo is the reason most people follow religion in the first place. That and it can be used to control the masses.
Re: Religions of Southperry
Was hoping there would be Pastafarian, oh well.

Re: Religions of Southperry
No other Wicca?
I am saddened, my sisters.
Re: Religions of Southperry
Deist, though that's not religion. I'm just really wired to causality.

What's the name for that? Beleiving but not being involved with religions... also, do you separate your spiritual life from the other aspects of your life?
What's the word for that? Secularism?
