Buff cool down 3rd party program
Any one want to make a program that starts a timer counting down when ever you press a certain key IE I press page up to res and then the timer starts counting down from 8:00:00 ect and so on - maybe it could have 6 customization keys.
Re: Buff cool down 3rd party program
Just use your quick slot?
Re: Buff cool down 3rd party program

How is it not accurate? O_o When the shading is completely gone, you can use the skill again. Not that hard of a concept.

not as simple once youre a bishop.
Re: Buff cool down 3rd party program
Skill cool downs aren't exact due to server lag.

Best typo ever.
If server lag is affecting cooldowns, I think you are pomegranate out of luck Josh. I think we should get some stopwatch action going on.

Wow how did I not catch that lmao.
Re: Buff cool down 3rd party program
Lag adds up to about 5 seconds to cooldowns, it's really obvious on Snipe.
Re: Buff cool down 3rd party program
Or actually the client only check for cooldown every 5 seconds?
Re: Buff cool down 3rd party program
Gotta keep in mind that skill don't cooldown if you're not logged in.
I see making that type of program way too difficult for the amount of benefit it gives. Just use the shading and it's a good enough estimate. In some boss runs, use the timer.
Re: Buff cool down 3rd party program
The only place I can think of this being much useful is synchronizing Crash between 4+ Warriors, when it's possible to completely overlap as long as they're cast at 18-20 second intervals (would require network communication of the program, but each player would get a countdown to tell them when to Crash). But that dynamic can't happen anymore.
Or maybe asking which Bishop's res is closest to being available...
In general external programs have trouble grabbing key events (hackshield is blocking keyloggers in other words) for example I can't use my music player's hotkeys while in MS.

My laptop has haptic hotkeys on the side
These function just fine ingame, however they do sometimes crosstalk ingame and open windows.

My Winamp universal hotkeys work just fine (other than also using potions and casting skills when I press them).

That's also extremely annoying with Mercedes' Spikes. It's supposed to be five seconds but with lag it's ten. It's not a problem with bosses but it really weakens the use of it during grinding.
