What is the best character card combination?

I know what all the cards, and sets do. But I can't figure out the best possible combinations for some reason.

I am an SS Dark Knight (I Have an ss kaiser as well)

Current Cards -

SS Dk, SS Kaiser, S Paladin.
S BT, S DA, S Cannoneer
S Shade, S, Hayato, A Sniper (need the 2% crit for 100% crit)

I have that im not using..

Phantom
Kanna
AB
Mercedes
Cannoneer
Lumi
DW
WA




It's just too many for me to comprehend and mix and match at once for the best combo, I'm not good at that. Does anyone know the best possible combo (if there is one)? for character cards. Thanks so much in advance, I've been trying to figure this out for so long.

I personally use:

Hayato DA Zero(DS if you don't train)
Xenon Mech Shade(please, even if mech sucks ass, please make one, 15% buff is so useful, and you should have xenon)
Kanna Tamer MM(Merc for cooldown reduction, or mage for lolmageset)

I swap in Kaiser when I'm training link skill mules.

Also, you're using Paladin. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY take it out it sucks seriously

I meant mech instead of cannoneer, idk y i put that, but Xenon gives me like 20 all stats, is that really the best i should use? and the reason I use paladin is for the 3 warrior effects, but i guess i should use hayato instead. (I don't have a zero)

Mech, Shade, Xenon (Pirate buff)

If you have use for another pirate card, you can use it. But like all pirate cards suck ass.

I need the exact breakdown of your IgnorePDR. Maybe also the bosses that you usually kill.

If he got the PDR from the stat window, it's correct.

He runs top tier bosses (CVellum, HM Mag, Hell Gollux, Emp, all that stuff) with a party.

@hadriel this^ That's my PDR from the stat window, and these are the bosses I do.

So basically, anything that has these will give you a DPS boost. (Yes I'm just stating the obvious here!)


- %Boss
- Str/allstat (let's ignore 2ndstat)
- %cr
- %min/maxcritdmg
- %IgnorePDR


And I take it that everyone loves %statusignore.


I'm not considering dSE because I don't know if you have it in there or not -- dSE changes conclusions alot.


So from your cards, the list of useful stuff are:
- A Marksman [What's this doing at A? Get it to S to get Warrior's Feat (S)!]
- S Hayato
- S Shade
- S Beast Tamer
- S Demon Avenger
- S Kanna
- SS Kaiser


- S Demon Slayer
For status resist.


- S Mercedes
For valuable skills that need CD reduction.


You don't have these, but you can consider these for the card effect solely:


- Zero
%EXP is the ultimate, ultimate, ultimate modifier to the eventual outcome of killing something, aside from item drops. But this is only if you're interested in getting the EXP at all.
- Mechanic
If you have valuable buffs that have difficulty linking up cooldowns, or want to minimise cooldown time, then this is your friend. Quite healthy too... 10% of 30 seconds is 3 seconds which is quite alot.
- Xenon
Stats. Period.


For set effects, anything that gives you any of the above stuff are obviously good for you. Suffice to say, please level up your sniper.


- Bowman set (relatively insignificant)
- Thief set
- Pirate set
- 3*X sets.


You have...
9200 STR
271% Boss
98% Crit
52% mincritdmg
71% maxcritdmg
89%IgnorePDR (I'm converting this into a PDR reduction factor of 0.11. I asked for a breakdown because the decimals matter here.)


A new thief(S) set gets you about a 1.5% increase in DPS, but the price is close to useless character cards. Lets ignore this.
- Pirate set gets you 6%IgnorePDR. Small as it seems, it still adds up, provided we got all 3 pirates (few have usul stuff)

Ok I'm half asleep here. There's very little to change anyway but I'll look at it again here. Just dumping stuff here.

Ok I don't think there's much point doing too much crunching on this.

If you want the Pirate set, you need Mechanic and Xenon, but that gives you a 0.5% increase in DPS against bosses with 70%PDR. 120% would be 0.91%, and 300% would be 2.96%.

In comparision, 3-6%Boss gives you 0.8% - 1.6% increase in DPS, but is flat and regardless of bosses.

So if you want pure damage, stick to the cards I mentioned, and rearrange for whatever minor bonuses you want. You may get a Resistance set I think, but +7allstat is paltry, really.
