No one would ever need this for anything legal. It's the government trying to entrap you mang.
70$ a month...? :(
God damnit that is an attractive connection.
I don't see the need for a connection that crazy. I don't see the need for a connection that is even a fourth of that.

I am more than happy with my current net, but B> Google Fiber any day!
Mother of god.... :glitter:
Saw Google Fiber a while ago. It looked really awesome and i was excited to get it, until i realized its not in my area. Why is it only Kansas?
Are those MegaBits or MegaBytes?
Whenever the answer, DO WANT!
My brother is getting this in Q3 or Q4 of this year. He's getting the $120 Package with the TV and Nexus 7 and the Google Drive and such. He still doesn't know what to do with it, he'll be cruising the torrent trackers though. Like the others said, besides great streaming I'm not sure what else to tell him to get or do with it. Maybe I'll let him on when he gets it to review it for you.
More than anything, it seems like some good pomegranate to have in a household with more than one PC, since is so many pineappleing Mb for Upload and Download. 1 PC with 1Gb up and 1Gb down its a frigging exaggeration.

This is... pretty bad, isn't it :|
The saddest thing is, that in my country those 70$ only buys me a 10mb down and 7xxkb up, and thats if you live in the capital, otherwise 4 down and like 500 up :S

I get 15/1 Mbps for $39/mo, which is perfectly fine for gaming/watching Netflix on 2-3 devices in a household. Uploading music and videos is painfully slow, though. I don't stream but if I did, I could probably only handle 360p. You definitely need 50/5 for heavy duty internet usage. I could see getting a good amount of mileage of going up to about 100/100. The Gigabit speeds here will just be nice to have in the future. 10-15 years from now, you may even be wanting more.
Eh, I can live with mine.
