OK, if you're getting it too, it's not my computer. It's something in the self-update BlackCipher does when it starts up.
Only question that remains is whether it really is infected with the trojan, or just includes its signature as something to look for.
If you temporaily disable Avira, Can you run maple?
I don't need to disable Avira, I can just tell it to ignore this particular file, and Maple comes up.Quote:

Avast also recently (yesterday) declared BlackCiper.aes "suspicious" and will sandbox it without an exception.
