DB's Mirrored Target post-revamp

So, DB's get some changes for Mirrored Target with the DB revamp. Since I'm both not able to get in-game and don't have a 4th job DB in KMS, can someone who does test some things about how it works?
First, does it have a range of effectiveness? i.e., if you cast it on one side of Henesys and then go to the other side while it's still up and get hit by a monster, would it still work?
Second, if an attack goes to your dummy, can Shadow Evasion proc?
Finally, does it work like puppet in that it can be cast anywhere on the map and you can range around and it'll still be channeled to the puppet?
