Mystery Special Mastery Book

My Aran has every skill maxed out except for Maple Warrior, which is level 20 and I've heard conflicting reports about whether or not the Mystery Special Mastery Book will give Maple Warrior or not. What would happen if I tried using the Mystery Special Mastery Book on him?

Good to know. I'm really starting to wonder how people are supposed to get it now that they're transitioning to class specific mastery books.

Regular books still drop from monsters.
