Nexon posted a patch for KMS version 162 upgrade to version 163.
You may download this patch from their official site and begin creating your pre-patcher now.

I read spadow saying something about that being in 2 weeks or something somewhere, but who knows.

It seems to be Resistance Character creation event, as well as Resistance Update. You get a free level 30 Resistance character already 2nd job, with a random amount of Mesos & a Pet.
