I'm pretty sure the Korean government doesn't have jurisdiction to prosecute anyone that's not living within their boarders. They would have to get involved with the other country's government to arrange any sort of punishment.

This law wouldn't affect them. The 'them using illegal KSSN to play the game' will though when they're caught.

Am I reading this wrongly or doesn't this mean Nexon Korea's entire revenue model is screwed? They can no longer sell virtual items, meaning the entire Cash Shop will go.
And so will the MTS I imagine.

They're not selling virtual items. They're selling game cards.
You don't buy items in the Cash Shop with real money, you buy them with virtual currency.

They're attempting to get rid of the black market that every MMO in existance suffers from. Such as the folks trying to sell in-game items directly for moneypak, USD via paypal, etc.
