Welp, there's the answer to the missing "NX-only circulator" from the Patch Notes. That's a disappointment.

New Permanent Pets is cool though.

Gotta be optimistic. Maybe the in-game circulators remain as they were, doing random things to your Inner Potential, and the new Cash Shop one just has the advantage of never lowering the rank? (Kind of like the Jett dust thingies) I want to think they'd say something about it in the patch notes if the existing circulators changed.

Though, having 3 lines of S Inner Potentials would be pretty amazing.

Just need S Inner Potential Locks now.

In eMS, the following happened:

All the circulators you had could be traded in for circulators that can go up to legendary (but cannot change the lines when they're legendary...), and can lower the rank. You got more of these circulators when you leveled your honor by using the drops from mobs and bosses. These CS circulators are probably only usefull if you have legendary inner potential.

Unless if you mean new locks that lock the actual line in question, locks are completely pointless now. You can't go down in rank on your inner ability lines, and once you hit S rank you're forced to use the cash shop circulator.

Edit: Apparently the regular ones can go down in rank from C-A? But once you hit S it's still stuck there anyway. And you want S rank to begin with.

It's called rare-epic-unique-legendary instead of C-B-A-S. But yes, basically what you said.
