I actually dreamed about playing maple last night and well, it sucked.
I was instantly hooked onto that bullsh'it sense of 'oh i must commerci. oh i must magnus, oh i must farm. oh i suddenly have so many obligations in a game thats meant to be played while im ignoring my real world obligations'
Don't do it. You could be spending your time on something else, learn to cook something nice, read a book, pick up a hobby or something. The value of maplestory is determined by the player and theres a whole load of other things that sane people would regard as 'better' to dump time into.
This is how I see MapleStory now.

-Nothing new or interesting
-Log out.

Come back, realize that you have no friends that play, no idea how the game works and nothing to do because people rarely talk to each other these days.

Honestly, don't bother. You'll very quickly realize that the company running this steaming pile of dung cares not about you, but your wallet. And even after the wallet's been handed over, you will be naught even a thought in their minds. :f3:
They are companies that actually care about their customers? Sounds a bit naive if a you believe that.
Do what I did. Play like mad. Then suddenly get bored/lose interest because of new shiny games (THANKS BLIZZ!).
Some Pizza Slice would be good enough. Try anything you want and get bored of it in a day and done.

Actually I was trying to find a good MMO to play.
Coudln't find one, then I thought of MapleStory but just to think how behind I shall be with all those new equipments,events link skills and all that pomegranate I realized it wasn't worth my time.

It's a game with an illusion of a challenge, which will only end in regret. If you must play, be content with event and free items.

The game may have it's quirks and appeals, but you will soon get bogged and frustrated by the many bugs, hackers, and negligence issues. You may know this already but this game is mostly nothing but luck and chanced based... People that posted are right though... They only care for your wallet. They will prey on your urge and temptations, your mistakes, your impatience, basically everything they can, reaching borderline illegal/questionable issue to get you to spend.

and I'm getting my old Pc back so I shall be able to journey the realms of maplestory to figure it out myself after a year and a half+ hiatus

So it turns out I did download/install it, played until about level 23, then got bored and uninstalled.
