I actually quite liked the incredibles and would like to see more of the characters. It could be good, but it could also be really bad.
I'll definitely give it a watch when/if it comes out.

The Incredibles 2 is all I care about. I'm honestly excited about that.
Finding Nemo was a great movie, but not sure if it was deserving of a sequel. But hey, I'd watch it too.

The Incredibles is one of the best animated movies of all time, and probably one of my favourite films ever.
I hope the sequel does it justice.

Oh my god it's happening!!! The incredibles is easily my favorite movie ever, cannot wait to see how the kids' powers have evolved.

I loved The Incredibles! So excited they're making a sequel :f2: I'm looking forward to seeing Finding Dory too but not nearly as much.

I really liked the idea, about what happens to superheroes when they get older.
Also it was surprisingly mature with the amount of death and how much danger the children were actually in, and the lengths the parents went too to protect them. The action scenes were also fantastic.
It was pretty funny too.
Also i'm a sucker for superheroes and superhero teams.

And for some reason, Cars 3 is also coming out.

Do you not enjoy power progression or super powers in general? That's what appealed to me most. Especially when the baby got going. (Excited to see how he's developed since the first movie) There's a lot of other reasons to like it though. It's pixar so every single detail they put into it is perfect.

i do, what killed the movie for me was just how dysfunctional the family seemed (to me), and how it's never really adressed, sure they get together to save the world but... i dunno, i just really disliked that table scene at home, it's probably what made me dislike the movie.
which is why i said i liked the idea, but the way it was presented was meh

But that's relateable to a vast majority of audiences. If they presented anything like the perfect family then it wouldn't have as much likeability imo. I wouldn't expect three kids with super powers like theirs to be easy to handle lol

and that's the thing, they showed the problems, but they didn't show any good resolution, in the end "oh we gotta save the world, let's forget it ever happened"
and then everything worked amazingly afterwards happy 10/10 family. i didn't want a perfect family but hey if you're gonna add emotional problems, solve them decently please ._.

Why is saving the world as a family and working together not a good resolution though? At one point in the forest they were fighting together but their chemistry was off because there were still problems between them. After that there is verbal problem solving going on and even before that escape when the family rescues bob.

I'll have to disagree. The problems WERE solved.
The kids couldn't handle being different. The girl wanted to be normal and not stand out and the boy wanted to do sports but wasn't allowed to because of his powers. That's what caused the vast majority of their issues as a family.
Them solving problems together with their super-powers changed the parents opinions in regards to the boy doing sports because they knew he understood how important not blowing their cover was and the girl ended up getting a confidence boost which was what she needed because she didn't truly believe in herself.

i dunno, the family seemed so dysfunctional to me that the speed at which it all gets resolved makes me dislike it. but again, this is my opinion on it, i guess i'd compare it to finding nemo where the whole movie is spent on the father learning to trust and all that, compared to it this movie barely spends time fixing stuff and has it fix itself by fighting a huge-ass boss
