The mechanics of Mist Eruption's damage
Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I'd like to know how Mist Eruption damage works in detail. I'm hypothesizing that it works the following way (345 x 1.35^5):
345% (0 dots applied)
345% + (345% x .35) = ~465% (1 dots applied)
465% + (465% x .35) = ~627% (2 dots applied)
627% + (627% x .35) = ~846% (3 dots applied)
846% + (846% x .35) = ~1142% (4 dots applied)
1142% + (1142% x .35) = ~1541% (5+ dots applied)
And the results of the following immensely helpful test: http://www.southperry.net/showthread...=1#post1081112
..seem to roughly confirm this theory, but roughly.
Re: The mechanics of Mist Eruption's damage
That's exactly how it works.

Are you absolutely sure? It's a rough match between the values and the screenshots in the test, but there's bound to be some sort of caveat.
Re: The mechanics of Mist Eruption's damage
You have rounding errors. And it's missing x1.5 from amp. There's also Arcane Aim to throw things off.
Also you're assuming lvl 30 Mist Eruption.

Thanks, seems legit then.
I'm not sure where to round it at exactly as I am quite the n00b at skill mechanics and calculations in general.

Everything is rounded down in Maple because it's run through Math.floor()

Thought as much. I fixed what I had before :)
