Internet randomly disconnecting+reconnecting

This has been happening ever since I got a new modem to replace my old broken one. It hasn't been frequent until recently. It used to happen maybe 2-3 times a week but now it's 1-2 times a day.

This is what happens: Modem loses connection and immediately starts reconnecting. Pretty annoying if you're working on something relying on internet or playing MS. There's no exact time this happens, it's all random.

I've also noticed my internet being slow sometimes (my connection should be something like 26Mbps) . I'm unsure if it's related to my modem problem, a seperate problem or if it's just southperry servers and I'm imagining it.
