3x card... does it even work?

My friend bought one and he said he was getting more EXP with 2x then with 3x. That it seems that the 3x card is a 1.5x... ¿Can anyone confirm it works or not?

3x works. It just doesn't stack with 2x event.

They do work. I used a x3 last night on my Mihile at aliens and was getting the appropriate amount of EXP.
