KoF sprite-over/reskin whatever you call it.
so i pretty much reskinned this guy:

65 colors used, looking for any constructive criticism, only things i didn't touch (bar recoloring) were the pants, the top of the overall, the face+chest, and the gloves+staff.
wings, horns, bandages, armguards and shin guards, cape and some other stuff sprited from scratch on top of the original sprite.
really disliking the shading of the bandages on the left wing (from our perspective) looking for any constructive criticism

the shading definitively doesn't merge like i did on the right side, i will have to edit that up later, it's just so annoying, ugh.

no can do, this is manually made, no textures or pretty much no photoshop, and the dithering i do manually without tool assistance. (done much better on the right bandages than the left* ones)

Damn man, this is great. Something feels a bit off about the feet though. The two boots look different from each other, though that could just be the angle.
And yes, the shading on the left wing bandages....it looks as though you have lighting from 3 different spots, lmao.

Though they are fur you might get the point.
Maybe toning down the highlight and adding a bit of dither might do the work.

you think so? light source is supposedly on the top-right-ish, so it should hit that boot pretty much directly.
the top detail on the boot does seem to have too much white though, i'll fix that.

Looks much better now, not sure what else could be improved (I guess thats a good thing :D).
