I've been training with one person since I came back after a 3 month break, helping them level. He's as dependent on me as I am on him for leveling now. As long as I have someone to train or train with I can keep going.

- Load up on pots.
- Get my MP3 on, plug it into speakers.
- Walk to the spot in which I train.
- Turn on music.
- Close quickslot, minimize Mini Map, close chat box.
- Train for hours until I am content.
- Close it down, take a 15 minute break, and try at it again.
-Get my inventory full of pots
-Look for a training partner or a training spot with i can solo
-Turn on music and bring food
-Eat while training till food is over
- *Has enough power to train all day*
-When pots run out.. Go fm and merchant

I patiently press a button while standing in one spot for hours on end. Woo Genesis. I listen to music and chat though. Keeps me going.

I found it fun at one point, then it became a routine. Then I couldn't stop. Then it became the opposite of fun. :(

I personally love grinding when it's completely silent.
It's so monotonous that I can relax and clear my mind of thought.

I buy some pots, go out to a training spot and press buttons repeatedly. After I get bored of just grinding, I start chatting with my guild. After chatting gets boring/dies down, I go get my mp3 player and put on some grinding music - Ali Project mostly, but any foreign trance-y stuff is good enough to numb me to the grind.
Once that wears off, I usually get off Maple for the day, content with having wasted an hour or so of my life.

-go to hoodoos/voodoos
-find no maps
-sit in fm

osrry wrong grind. I sat in my chair, log into vent, grab a drink and tell my buddy list and guild chat I won't be speaking for at least 4 hours unless they're in vent, they oblige and I begin Strafing away.

First I mess around in several different areas to try and figure out where I'd get the best exp (if there are several areas to choose from). Then I buy pots and clean out my inventory as much as possible. Then I kill whatever I chose to kill. Eventually I turn my MP3 player on. Quit after an hour or two, and if I have 2x exp, take a break for half an hour and come back to continue.

Empty equip/etc. as much as possible.
Fill use with pots.
Go to monsters.
Train until one of the inventories is full, or pots run out (usually etc. fills first - wyverns have an awful equip drop rate)
I haven't done it for a while, though. It got a bit boring, and I take issue with sub-5% per hour rates.

I get pots, go to the map, and while I'm running Maple in full screen, I'm watching Scrubs (or a different show) on my laptop.
I just grind because it's fun. Sometimes I listen to music, sometimes I talk to friends. But I just like grinding, too bad I can't do it too much due to lack of a partner.

Lol, I haven't trained in a while D: but when I do:
- Empty Inventory
- Load up on Potions
- Turn on music
- Find a map
- Daydream
Its a bad habit I know but when I'm daydreaming and grinding it seems to go by a lot faster xD.

Almost maxxed use slots and as a mage with hb it is hard to run out.
I keep atleast 3k Bulls and 1.2k Barbs. [Newties]
I talk on vent and if it is too quiet, I pump up the rap music! :excellent:
I train with my level 168 Bishop friend, and him only unless a lower level bishop is willing to learn the style of training we do. And my goal is a scrolled HT necklace.

It rarely differs from these steps for me:
Open All Chilled @ 181.fm stream via iTunes radio. (I do this regardless of grinding)
LMPQ prior to grinding (mainly for mana elixirs)
Find Coolie map
Cover EXP bar with Inventory menu
Start killing (First I do the bottom twice, using the pit-tele-thingy on the right to quickly move from one side to the other. The I do the top till they stop spawning...)
;_; I've spent so much time grinding on the last Coolie map, I feel somewhat connected to it..
I haven't been grinding for a while (mostly doing ppq for the hat, and other miscellaneous things). But when I did, it was mostly turn on my music (well, my music is always on, anyways), find a map, and start jumping around and shooting.
I don't even bother loading up on pots, since I don't use that many to begin with. Usually I go until my stars run out, I get tired of grinding, or fall asleep and die. D|
-Vent
-Kill
-Level 200
That's how I roll.

1. Fire up some music.
2. Login
3. Head to Newties losing about 10 Potions during the journey
4. Surf Newtie/Skele maps asking if anyone wants to party me for about an hour
5. Rejected, so I weep softly in the corner
6. Wait for the second poster of this thread to login
7. Stalk and get into a party
8. Turn Powerguard/Rage on
9. Run around like an idiot bumping into monsters
10. Get experience and level
11. Log off
12. Cry and wish I was accepted by more people.
I'm in desperate need of friends. Loneliness is a burden.

Music and wanting to beat my friend in damage. (The reason I made a new DK)
I've been training with one person since I came back after a 3 month break, helping them level. He's as dependent on me as I am on him for leveling now. As long as I have someone to train or train with I can keep going.
I totally agree with you. As long I can train with anyone, I am able to cope training endlessly. I used to train solo all the time but after 15x, gets pretty tedious and boring.
i just.... Grind.
It ain't that hard if you just focus. But I really get mad when I can't hold a spot for 1+ hour. Plus if nub sins start KSing. That annoys me.
Oh, and I also find it lovely to grind with MS music. Don't ask me why...

I need a goal to keep going. My most recent goal was to get enough HP for got to Horntail. I met that yesterday. So now... I dunno... 150 I guess.
I also am somewhat dependent on a friend who pushes me to keep going. If he's not on, I slack. Unfortunately he's been MIA recently.
Maybe I should try to pass him while he's gone.... :f2:

- fill my use with pot
- empty out my etc.
- get to the training map
- get my hb mule there
- start training untill i'm tire
Usually i train with no music or anything at all. I only train with maple story sound or everything is on mute. o_O What keeps me going is i guess seeing how much % i've gain.
I just kill until I get bored, then PQ, FM, or chat. Of course, I listen to music and chat while grinding...

If you listen to books-on-CDs/tapes while grinding, sometimes you get eager to get to grinding so you can listen to how the story turns out. I gained about 10 levels when I listened to "The Da Vinci Code" on CD lol.

How2grind:
-Get them potshuns

-Make sure to recharge your stars, otherwise you're a terrible ninja
-Go to himes & hold the avenger button
-Make sure to listen to music that repeats itself and is really fast
-Watch television (Do not try this at skelegons)
-Slap you priest until she cries, make her mob faster and never forget to HS
-When she becomes a bishop switch worlds and repeat

Make -sparkleeyes- at the computer while writing down my highest damage counts and randomly doing stuff like staring at the background, singing, petting the computer screen, crooning at my mouse, alternate between chews and warrior pots, maybe take a break and APQ a bit, die to break up the monotony, etc. :P

Put on some heavy metal music, find a party and start killing. I can last 4 hours max..
Cover exp bar, listen to some music, and press the buttons. I'll quit an hour later.

1) Update myself in forums.
2) Go on maple to discuss the updates.
3) Get pots, if I don't have enough already.
4) Alt-tab to turn on 1.FM, channel X.
5) Walk all the way to Wyverns on my hog.
6) Set a goal for today.
7) Train for 2-5 hours, watching my exp go up piece by piece.
8) During training, I daydream/plan my next goal/talk.
Repeat when suitable.
When your levels 30-70, you dont grind. You PQ!

First, I put on some socks. Then I put on some shows and go outside. I grab my skateboard and proceed to ride around on it till I warm up. Then, I find a suitable place, somewhere that I can ride up to or ollie up on, and I try it out a couple of times. Then I proceed to try and grind it. Mostly it works. Then I go home, switch out for a flowboard and continue skating.
