Guys, which training ground for Crimson Guardians would you prefer? The inside of Crimsonwood Keep has a smaller training ground than the larger one outside. It has 3 platforms instead of 2. So what do you think is better? The inside or the outside of Crimsonwood Keep?

EDIT: Nevermind I just found out the outside is much better still. Please close this topic.

i looked at the one inside the keep for about the time it took to kill 3 cgs and thought wow this map is crap.

The map inside the Keep apparently is a failure at spawning compared with the one outside. However, there are a few features that are worth taking into consideration:

- The outside map's layout is a bit bizzarre and can be annoying to maneuver your way around. This can be overcome with practice, I believe.
- On the other hand, CGs are still a bit too much for someone my level to Zerk on, so I would personally choose the safer route, manageable spawn and varied choice of safe spots. xP

If you like crazy melee spawn, I'd say pick the outside map.

The spawn inside the Keep increases dramatically if there is more than one person in the map. The maps are made to encourage Partying.

I think the only class that would actually use the one inside are NLs, since they get raped outside.

not unless theyre soloing because if theyre partying they can snipe the top and be perfectly safe.

I timed my EXP/ hour inside, and it is definitly lower than what I get outside. The map layout is tricky. The CG's magic attack was making climbing those ropes very frustrating :f4: Though map sharing would probably work way better there.

The outside map is so hard to party on. Usually when I split that map I go on left and somebody else goes on right. But it's so hard climbing up those steps all the time. I've tried going on top with a stronger person on bottom once, but my spawn was slow, and that caused the one at the bottom to lose a lot of EXP, probably because of the fact that I just wasn't getting the spawn I needed to reach my full potential.

Though on the old map, it works okay if a sin/ bowman just wants to snipe at the top and I stay on the bottom row and I'm not actually partied to them :P

Prior to cwkII (changes to CG's hitbox that makes this currently too dangerous/inefficient), I would sit on the right stairs and snipe with PA fury while berzerked, and a hero or bucc would take the top/left. I could also solo the map fairly effectively, but recent changes made zerking nearly impossible there without large HP reserves that I don't have yet, so I can't effectively go back until 14x. yay himes...
