Maple Server Hats

Today I was thinking about Server Pride, when it hit me. What better way to show your server pride than with a Helmet designed just for the server?
Maple Administrators would give them out at any level past 8(?) or so. Either from a small quest, or just for free. Could have 'upgrades' at various levels to give it half decent stats, so people don't just stash it in their inventories.

Why would Users want this?
New way to show Server Pride
New Hat
New Collectable
Why would Nexon want this?
People would try to hoar them. Nexon could make a killing off of Server Transfers. Half the price, triple the purchases. xD

Agreed, what makes you so special if you play in a specific server?

it's a nice idea. i believe there is currently the existence of "loyalty" to a server and the belief that each server has its own "personality" (whether true or not). having equipment to reflect this might be cute...

The idea of server hats would be something, but there can be a twist, such as the hat is automatically lost if you switch servers. It'd separate the true residents of a server from the immigrants.

Logically speaking, this type of item would be untradeable anyways. Otherwise, it completely defeats the purpose of "representing your server".

I think it would be fun if they gave out these hats, and a special area came out along with it. A sort of PQ that spans all servers, and to get into and stay in this area you had to wear your server's hat. It would be like a world wide FM. You also wouldn't be able to trade in the area, but there could be a sort of Server v. Server PQ.

I think pride can be a fun thing. It can breed friendly competition if it isn't taken too seriously.
