I just found this absolutely hilarious, mostly because I'm only a level 95 sniper with no priest and no powerguard mule, taking forever to kill bigfoot, still getting requests from random leechers every half hour or so. But this one was very funny to me in that she stayed for like half an hour and kept begging and bringing up her offer starting from 8mil.

P.S. Nexon is crazy to have this be a level 80 quest.

I'm willing to bet that's a guy in real life; or a 10 year old. Bad grammar won't help.

HEY HEY HEY! I'm a guy playing a female Night Lord, and I don't act like that! <_< :f7:

Probably a 10 year old. But yes, people are very desperate and can't play or do things themselves without leeching, it's sad.

I wish I could find someone who kills bigfoot on bera >_> I still don't have the Deputy Badge. Whenever I look for BFs, I don't see a single person or a single BF: x

Just curious, how long did that take?

Just the other day when I was killing BFs I had an unfortunate encounter with a PLSSSS PLSSS INVITE I NEED EXP assassin. He couldn't even hit BF, so I don't know how he was planning on getting exp, anyway.

I didn't really time it, but around two and a half hours I think, including having to kill the horseman that was there along with the bigfoot.

I guess Scania just has too many BF leech sellers.. whenever I venture to look for BF, find one and kill it, I dont ever see anyone come by other than people asking if they can have the toe (which I say no to because Im looking for one for my sister's hermit)

Im surprised that you didnt get ksed by some high levels or by some hacker within those 2.5 hours =X

Yah that's exactly the situation I saw the last few times my friends went to kill BF for me to get a toe for my hermit. Sometimes I'd be asked if I wanted to buy leech while I was looking for one too lol. And out of the 7 BF we killed before I got my toe, a hacker showed up at at least 5 of them. :f7:

I just did my first solo at one the other day too and since I was so slow at it, around 6 people came around saying pretty much the same thing for me. A shame was, one of them was even an old guildmate who just wouldn't understand that I wasn't planning on selling the toe either.

A couple of sins even attacked then dark sighted to throw off my puppet just because I wouldn't leech them. Not the best situations these days.

Wait. Whats the min. level to leech BF? And how much EXP does it give?

Oh well, the next generation of Maplers are getting to lazy... Wait til they hit 120 and start proper training, they'll cry, i tell u.

Wait. Whats the min. level to leech BF? And how much EXP does it give?

As you see in SS, 4.5m exp. About 500k of that would go to a 2nd job leecher, rising to like 1.5mil in 3rd job (when they don't need the 3rd guy to help them leech)

Only real minimum is level 26 - people bring Powerguard mules along that let them leech.

It gives 2.66mil exp actually, if I remember correctly. I was on 2x exp, and a friend and some other bigfoot hunters hit it around a bit.

Ewwww so in 2x/ 3x a BF would give them multiple levels? :f7:

Each individual type of monster should have a minimum leech level attached to it. Having 2nd job people gaining EXP from BF is just stupid.

You can't gain more than one level from one kill. It'd just bring you up a level with the addition of 99.98% experience.

I lol at how people seem to think using bad English will help their cause. Or at least be unnoticeable.

I find it sad to see people beg for leech. I mean, what has gotten into people? Shouldn't they be training properly.

And no, I have the right to refuse to leech off of anyone (Especially Bishops or Arch Mages), or to let people who want to leech off of me. Seriously, I don't support leeching.

I rarely ever play GMS, I play EMS mostly, and on quite a lot of occasions I've met players of all levels from 30-140 advertising "26-120 PG leeching on GMS [server], 2 weeks, 600m" (usually Scania). It really annoys me.

I remember a series of Smegas from some guy in Khaini asking for leech services, raising his price from 8mil/hour to 15 mil/hour, and kept on going up. Eventually he Smegad in all caps "OMG NO 1 SELLING LEECH YOU GUYS ALL SUK I QUIT MS"

Yea, there was a flurry on Bellocan from two guys who were looking for BFs. Went on for about half an hour before they gave up or they found somebody. Such a shame how leeching overrules training now. :/

Oh god....

Desperate lazy asses like these make me almost want to crank out my guild leader's old Bishop (yes, OLD. He has a LUKless one now) and leech for mesarz. :f3:

Sigh, they aren't going to get past 12x when they see how slow LEECHING will become, and I highly doubt they will being able to keep churning out millions of mesarz just so they can train AFK when solo training is actually cheaper. That is where I will surpass them. :shine:

Of course most of them won't, but considering that most of them want to reach fourth job in the first place before quitting, then they are achieving their goals.

All leeching does is make it harder to tell the difference between the lazy asses, and the people who actually worked for their levels (especially the ones who got lvl 120+ before 4th job existed.)

It also makes it nearly impossible for non leechers to find parties to train in.

Yeah, I'm finding it harder nowadays to find a committed 4 hour training partner on the weekends, so I know where you're coming from.

Or get KSed by hackers. I still haven't had a complete Bigfoot solo because hackers keep coming in and killing the rest of my bigfoot.

That happens a lot to my friends =(.

Btw, is it normal for Bigfoot to tank hits?
Some of my attacks go right through:f5:

Yes, Bigfoot is missing a hitbox on many of its frames. This means it is both invincible and does no damage.

Maple's a fun game at the lower levels. You're getting levels, AP and SP pretty fast, you get new skills and discover new things.

Then you get high level Maple: 30% (or less) in a 4 hour grinding session, all useful skills are maxed out, now you're getting 5 stat points and the ability to choose between maxing retarded skill A or retarded skill B. From 120 on, you're probably on the same training map all the time.

I am not a huge fan of leeching, and I think using it defeats the point of advancing a character... but at the same time, I sorta see where they're coming from.
