New Skin #2: Dark Side of Alchemy

The second new skin, Dark Side of Alchemy is now released! It's themed after Magatia, as you can see. This time, it has its own set of icons all out and ready, made by Mira and Magus. This turned out to be the really hard part, but I think they did a great job getting them up and ready. If you have any questions about what the new ones might mean, ask away, though I think for the most part they're all defined in the keys and/or self apparent. We started working on the Magatia one before the final results were in (when it was still beating out Crimsonwood) so yeah, the Crimsonwood one will be next.

There's one known issue with this skin, and that is "mark as read" by double clicking the forum icon doesn't work. Can't do anything to fix that right now, though, so you'll just have to bear with us.

If you see any other issues, please report them here (and a screenshot is very helpful in identifying it). Other than that, Enjoy!

Are the buttons going to be changed for the Elin skin? The new thread button and the icons for whether the forum is read or unread are still the same as the default.

At some point. The way I uploaded these icons is... uh, a "workaround". But I can only use it once, so I'll have to find a better way before I can do another set.

A few notes I would like to make on it though:
1. Isaac, your user title had a white highlight with the purple text. I'm not sure why, and you were the only one who had that *that I noticed*.

2. Emotes were almost invisible except for any of the non-black part of the smilies. I guess that would just be a consequence as I see no way around it or anything. :X

That's to make sure it's readable, he said.

As for the emotes, a possible solution would be to just outline them all in 1px of white. It wouldn't be the best looking, though, but oh well.

Scroll all the way down on this page and in the lower left corner of your screen theres a dropdown list of skins to choose from.

Nope. Down at the bottom of the page, the very bottom, there's a dropdown menu with all the skins listed. Just pick the one you want and it's set.

What modular was referring to is that the donators got to preview the skin while we were still working on it. :p

Someone asked about this in the donator thread.

The reason for this is because Carson and Russellon are the only people on each side who are "standing up" normally. Bedin's in that weird hunched over position, and Maed's in that chair, so they didn't really work well for a symmetry in the banner.

We made up for it by using the Alcadno gem as the online/offline indicator :p

it's the signpost arrow from Magatia (Scaled down a little to fit). That's what it's supposed to be, an arrow for redirect forums. :p
