Well, I'm a rather old school player and back in the day, party quests were pretty bad for EXP. Regular training was always better unless you PQ'd late night and managed to rush constantly.

Nowadays there are much more PQ's available and I hear a lot of people saying that PQ-ing is the fastest way from level 10-71. Is this true?

Sorry if this seems like a nooby question. I haven't really played any other character past level 30 besides my Bishop.

It's not. lvl 10 - 30 PQ's suck. 31- 40 MC = good, after that it's mediocre. lvl 51-55 LMPQ is good after that not so good...

I'll tell you what PQs are good for EXP until what level

Henesys PQ: I'd skip it, go to pig beach
Kerning PQ: 21 Until 25, then theres much more alternatives
MCPQ: 30 Until 51, EXP is still decent at 50
LMPQ: 51 Until 58 ish, Then it starts getting slow.

Thats about it.

Oh, ok thanks guys. It's good to see that I'm not THAT out of touch :P

What about legit Orbis PQ. Any good?

No. Most efficient (legit) way to Orbis PQ is to rush the first few stages. And by doing that, you get no rewards and only lose money. By completing it, you get less EXP, and it just takes too long for the amount you win. Ludibrium Maze is a much better alternative unless you have a party set up to constantly do it since you don't have to deal with Rushers. Although it's not too hard in LM anyways.

Henesys PQ, I've never quite liked. The best EXP is in the Bonus and no one does it.
Kerning PQ, if you can finish in less than 8 minutes or so (I think), or you hog Stage 1 (assuming you can easily kill Ligators) or Bonus (with one person per platform), then you should get better EXP than training.
MCPQ Coin Farming is likely the best EXP from 30~50. Unless you can get 40%/hr at level 50 somewhere, you're better off here.
Herb Town PQ is pretty terrible. Only worth it for the hat, and that's for 8x~9x people with time on their hands, really. Otherwise, you''d be too slow and weak.

It is possible to PQ from 10-71, but it's definitely not realistic.
If we were to have 2 people, 1 PQing 24/7 and another training 24/7, the person grinding would probably win.
PQing relys on other people; coming from a DK's point, it really sucks when you can't train without others.

You can pq from level 10-101...you forgot PPQ.
If you include gq, you can pq all your maple life except the first couple =D.

Anyways, ppq is crap unless you really want a pirate hat.

You forgot HPQ, you can PQ all the way from 10 to 200, but that's beside the point. For the most part, training is better than PQing. PQing is just a break from grinding and a fun way to gain some exp.

Someone should try that. I wonder how much % an HPQ gives at lv101.

Hogging stage 1 is way better than anywhere else. The ligators give 120 exp each, which is pretty damn good even if the map isn't the best for training. It does consume pots for weaker party members, though.

How much HP do those Ligators have? I want to see if the HP:exp ratio is any good.

1200 HP, not that good. Teddies in Ludi, Kiyos in Ariant are better.

Wait, but isn't that a 10 HP to 1 EXP ratio (that is if it is 120 EXP)? A would consider that better than teddies and kiyos. Although map and spawn included, maybe it's better, that I would need to look into first. Although, a substitute for it could be psycho jacks (not exactly 10:1 but I don't mind the 850:73 roughly 11.6:1).

Ah that is a good HP:EXP ratio. Thanks guys.

The ratio for teddies is 1:15 by the way.

Ligators only give 60 exp, so no, it's not that great.

I'd say PQs are the most mid-level way to level.
HARDCOREZ training usually LOSES money
Farming loses exp.
Pqs tend to fit somewhere in between.
like B rate EXP and C rate Mesos.

I thought the ones in PQ give 120 exp?

Oh, you were talking about in KPQ. Party training at that level isn't that good though isn't it?

If every one can kill fast, it's probably good exp.

It's amazing exp if you're level 28-29 and everyone is more than 5 levels lower than you. They don't leech your exp and you get theirs. Rejoice when they need 35 coupons! muahahaha :f6:

And when you're on 2exp, in KPQ stage one, wow wow :D.

Henesys PQ - VERY fast until you reach level 15-20ish. Bonus stage is the best way for a newbie to get rich though...

Kerning PQ - Alrite, not too bad. I believe the first stage gives the most exp depending on the number of lighators you kill. Bonus items arent too good however.

Ariant Colosseum - Exp is kinda horrible even if you get alot of gems, the only reason you might wanna do this pq is if you want the beach chair.

Ludibrium PQ - Horrible even at level 35, it takes a WHILE to do but the exp is alrite until level 40+. As for the items in bonus, its alrite but then people have a high chance in looting your opened boxes. There is a chance to get monster sacks in this pq but rarely.

Monster Carnival - Very fast exp but at lower levels, it might be hard for you to win. Items are alrite but then the coins dropped in the PQ to acquire those equips are fairly rare, expect yourself to get around 1-3 coins every PQ.

Orbis PQ - Rush PQ is fast exp but nowadays it's replaced by ludi maze PQ. Items, similar to Ludi PQ only the boxes are even mroe horribly positioned making them hard to reach.

Ludibrium maze PQ - Very fast exp until around level 60, one of the BEST ways to get rich though.

Herb Town PQ - Takes a while but the exp is fairly decent until around level 60. The only reason you should do this PQ is if you want the lord pirate hat.

Overall it's really up to you. Grinding is alrite but I prefer ludi mazing all the way to 70 though.
