I'm making an HP Warrior just for fun and I'm stuck as to how the build should result.

Option 1 :
Improved HP Recovery Lv5
Improved MaxHP Increase Lv10 [Max]
Endure Lv3
Iron Body Lv2
Power Strike Lv20 [Max]
Slash Blast Lv20 [Max]

Option 2 :
Improved HP Recovery Lv16 [Max]
Improved MaxHP Increase Lv10 [Max]
Endure Lv8 [Max]
Iron Body Lv5
Power Strike Lv1
Slash Blast Lv20 [Max]

Option 1 is the standard warrior build. I'm wondering if an HP Warrior should max both of his/her attack skills even though they really won't have much to attack with.

Option 2 maxes all the skills that have to do with HP recovery. I'm wondering if having skills that constantly recover HP will be more useful to an HP Warrior than attack skills such as Power Strike and Slash Blast.

Which build is best and why? Thanks.

**Also, since it's an HP Warrior, does it matter whether I choose a Fighter or Page or is just which ever I'd prefer to be?

Power Strike may not make much of a difference, but I don't see why you'd bother with HP Recovery. It only kicks in if you're standing still.

Fighter is usually the more common choice, since they gain HP and not MP from job advancement and have Rage, which lowers defense and therefore increases PG damage.

Ah. Ok then. I also didn't know Fighters gained HP for their advancement. Thanks.

Option 1 is your best bet.
When you have 8k hps by the time you are level 30, you are going to be standing there for a long time to heal.

Same with your hp on your advance.
If you change into a fighter you gain around 300hps.
Spearmen get a little less.
Pages get even less. :f4:
But you are talking about already having 8k hps by the time you get here.
So pick what you want, don't go by what other people tell you.

Just for your information, I ran the HP warrior ranks on sleepywood.
I had info on well over 100 hp fighters. (6 saders)
But there were only 15 hp pages at most. (1 wk) :glitter:
And like 7 spearmen. (1 dk, well now he's a drk)
That was until May of '08, when I decided to stop with my hp warrior.

Pages and Spearmen both get 0 hp on the 2nd job advance. No difference.

Quite useless -- for the most part --

i made my hp hb mule mostly for fun -- but some applications do exist --

i can tank a lot of hits if i cant get doored to newties -- which is really nice

arms at zak are a joke with that much hp

most useful was hbing my am at bf -- can tank a hit from bf at a really low lvl and the hb let my am tnak a hit aswell

....thats about it =D

o and
once you reach the min req to advance as a warrior -- save the remaining points to put into hp til after you have maxed out improved hp gain -- its a small boost but every little bit counts

When you have over 9k HP at lv 30, recovering an extra 50 per 10 seconds seems...insignificant?

Especially since you can recover 50 hp per 5 seconds on a relaxer anyway.

All recovery rates for HP have been reduced to 5 seconds in a patch some time ago (except when hanging on a rope/ladder, duh). I dunno when, but it is what it is now.

All recovery rates for MP is still at 10 second intervals though xD
