Quick question about Homing

In 3rd job, does homing affect your damage (gives it a boost)? Or does it just target 1 specific monster?

It targets one monster and raises your damage on that. Training? Sucks. Bossing? Yespls.

Could be wrong, but I think that's how it works.

For regular homing, the only good this is the "targetting" aspect

The damage % you see is the initial hit the egg makes with the monster, just like a regular attack. There is no additional boost in damage for 3rd job homing.

Homing doesn't boost your damage. You throw it at any monster. It does whatever damage it says on the description for Homing. From then on, all your attacks will target that monster, if possible. Meaning, if the monster isn't in range, your shots won't go all hacker-style into it, they'll still behave as normal. But if the monster is in range, your shots will pass through anything else in the way to hit it.
