if you're a magician and you're level 50, you have enough assuming you dont enjoy hugging bosses. magic guard will give you enough to survive everything else.

I'm pretty sure with mages you can go lvl 50. Like the previous poster said, just hug <<< side of the map. Even when I got my helm at 9x they said they just hugged. (I couldn't go myself, laptop + Vista = fail)

If you have HB, MG and maybe hp equips, you will definitely be ok.

well, as stated above, i will have to be able to survive WITHOUT HB as they will not be providing me with a buyer party and because of that, i will be getting a free helm....crap i have vista + laptop but i've survived zak once before on my cb....hopefully i don't dc haha

Oh. Well shit. Maybe it's just my laptop lol. But I lag really bad in Leafre and Orbis so I know I wouldn't even make it in Zak. I think as long as you have MG you SHOULD be ok.

1. have at least 2000 HP after wearing your equipment, but before receiving Hyper Body. ( not sure if that count's twoards mage's as well)

2. 1) Lightning Strike - Does a maximum of 3200 damage.

2) Falling boulders - Does 2700 to 2800 to all players hit.

3) Apocalypse - Reduces your HP and MP to 1.

lol sweet, from my calculation of the damage that goes to HP = 0.2 x 3200 = 640 HP so that means i have well more than enough and yah, maybe it is your laptop lol, i tend to get no lag in leafre and whatnot...thanks a lot for your help! :f2:

Vista just lags in Leafre and Orbis in general (at least for me). Everywhere else you shouldnt lag so dont worry too much.

As for hp, Im pretty sure mages have enough even without hp equips/hb because of magic guard. You should be fine as others have said.

Most Damage You Can Take = HP x 5 - 1. At most, Zakum does around 3.2k, so you should be okay.

I don't see what using a laptop has anything to do with not being able to survive Zakum. I preferred my laptop to my desktop (until I upgraded it's video card) because I could go and chill on my bed. :P
Visa on the other hand, would make a difference.

Anyway, you should be fine as long as you have max magic guard. Most Zakum will hit you for would be 2,800-3,000 (depends on your defense), and with magic guard, your MP will take most of the hit. Just bring about 500 Power Elixirs (I don't know how long your friends runs are. KoM's generally are 15 minutes, and that's what we recommend for our runs. So, give or take.

Hope that helped.

Thing with Ales, they won't heal your MP to full. It'll only heal you to 2,400 (somewhere around there) so you'd either have to double pot - or risk the chance of dieing. Because sometimes, pillars come in groups. <_<

hm...well i dunno how i would scrape up 1k power elixers at the moment so i'll just have to risk it...i tend to have like zero lag as it is so no big deal there =)

If you are going toget HB all the HP you need is 650. You're fine. I just went on my level 50 cleric and hadmore than enough at 759 HP.

Power elixirs isn't needed. I usually just bring ginger ales. Just pot whenever is needed.

Zakum hits 3.5K at most. That means you should have 700 hp to survive. You said you have close to 1000 which is good enough with magic guard. One thing though, don't hug the wall. Usually, when it does it's fire attack, the area warning shows up exactly on the wall. That means that if you lag during 1/1 and you're on the wall, you're screwed.
You want to stand somewhere between the wall and the end of the platform. (above you).

I think you should bring 200 all cures to be on the safe side... Rather have extras than not have enough...
