So i just tried out this map with my lvl 10x Chief Bandit, and I gotta say its not a bad choice. Its actually a fun change from the normal training maps such as Gobies, Armory, etc.:f2:

I (tried to) made a minimap with the tactics that can be used in the map. But they do need better explaining.:f2:

The map navigation is from left to right, then up, then left, down and then repeat.

In the beginning, you can try to BoT the Bains, or if it seems like a faster/cheaper way, you can BoT them to make them follow you, and then you can SB them from that little platform below. You wont get hit by Bains, but the poison will damage you (about 200 per hit)

After your done on the first part, youll move to the next platform. There can be around 1-2 Bains, so depending if you have enough space to assaulter between them, choose between SB or As. (You can also try SBing them from the lower part of the slope, [if bains are on top] and crouch down when they fire)

On the next platform, just BoT them so their after you, and get on the small edge-platform on the left, and SB them. No damage taken if done correctly. After their killed, just do the Jump-SB technique to kill the bains on the lowest-right platform. There can be from 1-2 bains here, so use the SB if theres 2, and you can also assault if theres just one.

From the platform above it, Jump and SB the bain, BUT DONT KILL IT. When it will die from a next hit from assaulter, use the bain to tele into its platform, or the one on the left of it.

Now this part gets tricky. BoT the Bains on the next platform to atract them, but going to the 'SB-Sniping' spot wont help because they will start to shoot you instead of getting into the edge. So just Assault to the floating platform on the left, so the bains will get on the edge. Now you can SB the one bain that spawns near the platform youre on, (which may cause they bains to get unagrroed) or you can just jump through him and get on the 'SB-Snipe' spot and kill the bains.

BoT the Bains to the left, or you can trySBing them from the little platform floating a bit on top, though it sometimes makes them stop attacking and get confused, or sometimes they might shoot flames at you. Then, from the platform with the lonely bain, asaulter to reach the top platform (if there arent any bains in assaulter reach, just use stairs) I cant find a better avoid tactic here than just BoT them to death. Though if there are few and spreaded bains, you can assault them individually or use the Jump-Sb technique. After, just jump to the begining and repeat.

Tips:

-"Jump-SB technique" You can take bains one on one without taking any damage, if you SB it, so then it start to fire, and ju can jump while SBing. You can do about 2 SBs, and then do 1 Jumping SB to avoid the flame ball.

-If bains dont want to get into edge and keep firing at you, try pressing the down key to crouch, or moving a little away from it.

Results:
Lvl 102 CB (As./BoT Maxed)
Pots: (havent calculated them)
Exp:10-15%

I think its still good, and i dont seem to waste many HP pots.

Sorry if it was too long, just wanted to be decriptive. First map-training guide ive made :f3:

Feedback apreaciated, or opinions on if this place is trainable or not

Well I think I'm at the point where I'll be at Himes for the rest of my 3rd jobbing, but it's a really nice guide. I'd never thought of those Bains as being decent training, since the map is kind of annoying IMO. Looks pretty decent though (and no risk of Gunboss deaths like the Armory Bains...). Great guide ^^

I like the armory bains map better. When you do encounter the gunboss in the armory; all u gotta do is have 3 or 4 bains there to protect you while u spam BOT.

Eh, CB's do have MG.... 50% damage halved and around that level you would have around 2.3k - 2.4k HP, which is just enough to take a hit. At least your ass is covered if you do get hit by the old dude's m. atk or get touch damage unlike hermits. :o

I would think Bains are the most efficient map (more than Newties) when you have a point or more on Venom on the 4th job. Split the map with an I/L/WK/Hermit and HS Mule/Priest would be a good try for it?

I've known of DKs/Hermit/Priest combo on this map and was said to be faster than Grims (duh! And Grims was 20M per 4hrs on average with 2x)

Just a little note - this is from the word of mouth but not from any past experiences.

When you say 10-15%.. is that with or without 2x? :f6:

I'd assume it's without 2x on, usually when people post their training speeds for a guide, they use what is applicable for most people.

I don't think the HS mule idea will work for the Armory for gMS. As far as I know, there aren't any safe spots for it, and keeping it in the Anego map isn't possible either, you'd have to have an actual priest there.

I'm pretty sure the boxes on top of the bains are safe spots on the very left side (unless you jump, and the bain fires you off). What makes the map freaking scary is when the Showa Boss spawns randomly and starts shooting you with his gun (which is about 4k?)

Rush + Ice charge would be pretty sweet here for 120-123 Paladins that needs to get their ACB maxed first - so partying with Paladins might be an alternatie choice to I/Ls
