This is the official thread to discuss the current status of the servers, channels and general Nexon connectivity.

If you really only want to see the status and have no interest in participating in discussion here on Southperry you're discouraged from registering, there's no benefit to you for doing so. You will find it more effective and expedient to simply bookmark one of the following mirror URLS of the status page;

They update on the same schedule, load faster, use less resources and are perfect for sharing and bookmarking.

Red Blinking = All logins down, or master login down.
Red = More than 50% of the normal channels are down but logins are fine.
Yellow = Less than 50% of channels are down and logins are fine.
Green = All good.

Note in this context "down" means "not reachable" and could mean any number of reasons, not specifically that the server physically died.

Latency is now indicated in the report, including max and average.
Channels that are up but experiencing a higher than normal latency will be indicated in Yellow, but poor connection speed will not impact the status results indicator.

Note the contents of this thread will routinely be moved to the Archived Items (http://www.southperry.net/forumdisplay.php?f=9048) forum after various outages and discussion.

Log in servers went down when I dc'd at zak and I needed to get someone their skills. I tried relogging about 12 times to the same character and kept dcing. Angry I went on a different character and it worked. So I decided to log off and the game crash saying "Cannot connect to log in server". Irritated already I decided to log in again and it finally stopped happening.

tl;dr annoying.

EDIT: Crashed once while selecting character, but I'm back on now. Weird.

The login server was lagging to the point that changing the login information to a second account sometimes logged you into the first account you was trying. :ohno:

What's going on?

I disconnected sometime in the past half hour, and am experiencing horrible lag trying to log back in. Stuck on the character select after entering PIC.

Meanwhile, the status checker hasn't updated itself since 4:00, which I think is about 40 minutes ago (I'm not good at timezone conversions).

Anybody else having problems?

My guildie said he got rollbacked when he crashed today while training. I can't confirm this, but if it's true, it might mean a return of dupes. :f7:

Nexon is known to unfix their fixes. Then again, he might have died or something before d/cing; like I said, I can't confirm it. It wouldn't surprise me if it were true though :/

We know that a lot of you are experiencing game channel crashes after we brought our servers back up, and we’ve already gotten in touch with our developers about this issue. We’ll get this fixed up as soon as we can!

That'd be because the fix for this (http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=56296) involved killing all scheduled tasks, and accidentally killed the job scheduler too, which means no native schedules could run until I got off the road long enough to login and restart it.

I really need to clean up our scheduled tasks and put in some better failsafes.

Sweet. Just went past the PB entry point to sign up; servers crash. So can't PB untill tomorrow! YAY!!!!!! Nexon preventing me from doing the only fun thing in this pineappleing game. Pisses me off every time. You go trough the ToT and see all these hackers, but the legitimate players get pineappleed up the pimento. Same with the attack limit. 100 attack before you got to move. I hate that at PB - Eagle statues. I barely hit them as it is.... Hackers don't seem to have a problem bypassing that. I think it's the first thing they bypassed when hacks were introduced.....

But hey, it's a business and she only has a responsibility to her shareholders. I shouldn't complain.
