[XBOX 360] I'm getting one of those games this weekend. Help me with your personal experiences and tell me which one is better.

I personally like guitar hero better, because the notes are circular shaped instead of a rectangle. But, i heard alot of complaints about the new Guitar Hero: World Tour drum set. I'm hearing alot of complaints about the drums and their sensitivity.

Should i just buy Guitar Hero 4, the guitars, and wait to buy the drumset? Or buy rockband 2?

Rockband 2, tried both, World Tour was very dissapointing. Fail drums, Rock band 2's setlist is better, the music maker on GHWT is nearly useless, I could go on...

Just like GH3 & RB1... For guitar, GH4 is better than RB2. For everything else, RB2 is better. I personally like the GH interface better though.

Also, to be fair, there's 16 songs that are in both setlists and/or in their downloadable content right now...

Guitar Hero's setlist is terrible. Most of the songs are 7 minutes with like 4 notes on expert. I regret buying the bundled version to just have my drums break on the first day... Rock Band 2 is just better overall. The setlist is amazing, and the simplicity is ten times better then the feel of Guitar Hero.

I haven't played GH4 myself, but critics unanimously tout Rockband 2 as the better game.

If the shape of the notes is the only thing that sways you in the direction of GH4, then I suggest perhaps finding a place that has Rockband 2 on demo and giving it a spin (right now my local GameStop and Best Buy both have it up to play.)

Stick with GH3 imo, it has by far the best songs and awesome dlc. But, of the two, get RB2 and use the GH3 guitar with it.

My girlfriend got GH4 for PS3 and we were playing it at her place... Every so often, both guitars completely stop responding and just flash their LEDs over and over again. Popping the batteries out and back in fixes the problem, as does unplugging and plugging the wireless detectors from the console.

Anyone have any clue why it's doing this and how to fix it? It's not a low battery problem.

It's not a low battery problem.I'm not sure about the GH guitars, but I know the PS3 Rockband guitars automatically shut off after a certain period of inactivity to save batteries. It's kind of irritating when we've finally decided on songs in a setlist only to find out the guitars shut off while we were bickering over which songs to play. :f3:

Other than that I have no idea what it could be.
