Users can now see what posts have been marked for an infraction/warning, what the warning/infraction was for, when the warning/infraction was issued, and the administrative note the mod/admin wrote with the warning/infraction.
You cannot, however see which staff member gave out the infraction/warning.
This is basically a paraphrase of what Fiel posted on the ultra-cool and secret mod board.
There's an ultra-cool and secret mod board?
Screenshots please XD.

I wonder how many [insert that one guy's name] warns he has xD
Finally, we get to see what posts are examples of what warns they warrant. I was annoyed by not being able to see posts that got warned on sw.net.
EDIT: Awesome, it works xD Example (http://www.southperry.net/forums/infraction.php?do=view&p=92029)
(that's not mine lmao, and it's a red one btw)
Furthermore, the total amount of warns/infractions that you receive is private to you. Other people cannot see what warnings/infractions you've received by viewing your profile. However, you can now see posts that get infractions. By clicking on the yellow or red card in the lower right corner of each post, you can also see what infraction that person received, as well as any administrative notes that the moderator wished to leave behind.

What's the difference between an infraction and a warning? I thought they were synonymous.

Infraction counts towards the 7 points, warnings do not. As the names imply warning is simply "warning" you. Infractions are saying you obviously know what your doing or w/e. Likeeeeee for my 1 infraction I have 1/7 points or whatever towards a 1 week ban. =(

I think it's kinda mean and digs into peoples privacy if it shows the reason that someone got infracted for, I think if it's breaking rules it should be fairly obvious.

I think this was made as a compromise between the people who have the same opinion as you, who think that it's mean, and the people who like seeing peoples infractions.

Not like mods warn that much. =) I bet on some forums quite a few members here including me would have been banned a while ago. =P
I'm gonna check some old threads for warns.<333

It's moreso to show people the standard that is used to determine what is an infraction and what is not. Displaying the infraction associated with the post is displaying this standard, not making a mockery of the person.
Sad to say it, many are under the belief that if they don't see it happening, it may as well not have happened. It's the same way for infractions.

I think you should warn more TBH. I'm quite sure I deserve more than one infraction. =/
Agreed though, show please. =)

What boggles my mind is that on sw.net, before the version upgrade for vBulletin, quite a few people actually showcased their warns (because you could see the person's warns on their profile) and actively collected them while trying to avoid a perma ban. Not being able to see them on another person's profile other than your own takes away from this "sport".

There's no reason why a person should be able to look at another person's warns and infractions by looking at their profile; that would be making a mockery. This system right now is fine.

This is all pretty interesting, let's give it a week or so and see how it ends up, eh?

Gathering warnings a sport? I think that's taking the true meaning of the system way out of hand.

On Sleepywood's announcement thread of the new vBulletin forum skin (is that what it's called?) there were a couple people who complained and said that they wanted to collect warnings and now that the warnings have been wiped and are hidden, they can't do that anymore. To me, it seems quite odd, but, eh, each to their own.
