I just realized...Meso bags are back! Do you guys think that they will be available on Demethos' launch, or do you think they won't be available until later? Also, what effect will Meso bags have on such an undeveloped economy? Discuss. :f2:

They hopefully won't be in the Demethos launch, but eh, Nexon could screw up again. Prices would probably soar up instead of being nice and cheap.

Yeah...There's two sides of the argument: One side wants Meso Bags because it will make starting fresh much easier. On the other hand, FM prices will soar. Also, NX-less people will be disadvantaged, too.

I doubt they would include them, kinda like MTS.

Either way NX-less people would have a disadvantage because people with NX will probably Gachapon for NPCable stuff.

True. Meso bags certainly wouldn't help though. I hope they don't include them, for the economy's sake.

The economy is probably going to be screwed up anyway because the players will be leveling fast with the 2x exp, while money and items drop at regular rate, thus unbalancing the the exp gain : meso gain ratio.

I thought Nexon said meso bags were permanent now? Maybe I heard wrong.

Another true say. I think we might just have to wait and see what happens. There are a lot more factors effecting the economy then what I had thought of at first...

Hopefully Nexon doesn't have a 5hour patch trying to fix pirate glitches, during our 2x.

some players will just buy their mesos off a site, and for cheaper too :(

It'll take those sites a bit of time to pile up a good stock of Demethos meso.
The prices at first may be higher.

I don't think Nexon will take them out at the start, they know damn well people will buy them, why the hell would they want to lose money? Besides which I don't think they could be bothered re-programming the cash shop so that certain items aren't available in certain worlds. Turning off the whole cash shop from a world might be fine yeh, but not single items. Correct me if I am wrong.

I agree, I personally think that Nexon will not take out the mesos bags. It's all about the money, they noticed how much they got from Yellonde, but you have to remember all the money that they make from CS funds maplestory.
You never know though, they can do wonderous things ;].

4 day bump?

Frankly, at the beginning of every server the economy is chaos. It will probobly settle down later on though, meso bags just may make it take longer to settle down than others. Frankly the idea of having tons of mesos for potions and equips up to level 40 is inscentive enough for me to support the idea of meso bags on a new server. Thing is, eveyrone that doesn't have access to NX only get higher FM prices out of the deal =/

Then again, higher FM prices mean they can sell stuff for higher too, so I guess its not all bad for them.

People without nx won't have much of a disadvantage with the 2xdrop for 2 weeks.
