Hey, I'm not an introducemyself kinda person, but um.. hi.

I'm Audra2202 on sleepywood forums, now permenantly banned because Adura read some things in my + my boyfriend's PMbox. Long story short, he didn't like something butterfli said to me in PM as a joke, so he banned him and shortly after, he banned me too. (It's funny cuz both our PMs combined, had 1.4k messages..lol I'm guessing he's read them all to have found that particular one.) I know some of my friends who I haven't had much contact with after my ban wanted to know, so there you go, a tl;dr version of the story. lol Anyway, moving on....


Anyway, I heard about this site from some friends and then came to check it out. Props to fiel on taking this bold move. Good luck with all that you do on this site! <3 It feels good to be back. Catch you guys later in the mage section of these forums. ^^

Yeah, Adura spies on private messages for fun. There was this one time when he was sexually harassing some girl friend of mine, and she wrote a PM to another admin to complain. Adura got to the PM before the other admin did, deleted it, and banned the girl. This was over a year ago; he's always been this screwed up.

I had some fun exchanging PMs encrypted and digitally signed with a military-grade PGP encryption system. Poor guy, I bet he really wanted to read it. ;D

Yeah, I was really surprised that adura read that because of how the PM was worded. It was done in a way that you couldn'tve just searched and found it instantly. Anyway, getting a ban from sw.net didn't particularly bother me. A lot of people there seem to ask pretty brainless stuff. Stuff that could've easily been answered if they'd just take five minutes to search or figure out themselves. So the ban pretty much sealed the deal for me to leave the forum.

This forum gives no ability for messages to be read if sent via PM. Even if I wanted to scour through for people sending those oh-so-sexy pics (Fiel sends naked ones to every donator) I couldn't. But, there's no reason for us to, as we're not future contestants on "To Catch a Predator".

I'm 100% certain one could if they're experts, and although I'm not fond of what Adura did, I DO have to give him props for being skilled AND have time enough to be able to unearth such things.

This isn't a matter of features available in a bulletin board system where mods/admins are able to read PMs simply because it's a feature built in to the bulletin board software. This is a matter of looking through the database. If you can store something, you most certainly can find it. So to answer your question, you would have to have server access in order to retrieve such information. That is to say, Mods and admins don't have such a capability unless you were a server admin.

Anyway, like willow said, they have no reason to be "predator-hunting". I highly doubt they'd do that.

PS willow - if at all possible, and I don't know who has the ability to, but could you do me a favor and help me delete Ailynna? I didn't like the username, so I abandoned it. lol Thanks in advance! <3

I only know that 'cause my ex used to love to screw around with the forum databases. It was a phpbb forum, whereas sw + sp are vbulletins. lol But I figure the concept was the same: if something was stored, u could find it.

Yeah, I remember that guy. I don't remember much of z1g runs since I really didn't know everyone back then, but I have heard of you and seen you around on forums. :P So how much of things have changed? I know that a whole bunch of people had either server changed, switched to private server, or quit playing altogether after I'd left. Almost makes me feel like they'd all just followed suit. >.>
