HOLY SHI'T THIS GAME IS SO GOOD. LIKE REALLY GOOD.
It's been ten years since a Fallout game was released, and the motherf'uckers who work on Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, which got game of the year/best graphics/best gameplay/best RPG/best everything else, made this game as well.
"Fallout 3 takes place in a post-apocalyptic United States in the year 2277. The player character is a member of Vault 101, a fallout shelter serving Washington, D.C. The player character lives with his/her widower father until, one day, the player wakes up finding that the father has left the vault and ventured into the wasteland for unknown reasons. The vault overseer becomes suspicious that the player had something to do with the father's disappearance, and the character decides to go out into the Capital Wasteland in search of him."
This game is the next big RPG. I've never been so drawn in to a game since Oblivion back in like 2004. There's so much to do, the world is so gigantic, the combat system is so unique. You know what I love about it, though? It's the kind of game where you don't even have to give a f'uck about the main story until whenever you feel like it. Seriously, the way things lock together, it's hard to tell what's a part of the story and what's just a little side quest. Some side quests take hours, and are full of action and all the other good shi't.
I needed a game that would keep me occupied until Christmas (Since I don't want to spend money on Gears of War 2, CoD, etc), and this game is definitely going to do the job.
What do you guys think?
