My Dearest Love,

Is there ever a moment you wish it was possible to revisit a time in the past when life seemed undoubtedly better? Surely, if it was possible, a number of souls would hurriedly seize the chance to visit loved ones who have passed, snatch an opportunity previously missed, or return to a point in their life when they were happy. But Dearest, do you not believe that people, knowing there is a higher power to give them a chance to correct the past, would laze the days away with the mindset of correcting it in the future by returning to the past? I believe that it is much more productive to do the right thing the first time a situation presents itself. Although I do wish that in the off chance I may have missed something, I possessed a sort of safety raft that would provide an excellent escape from the sinking ship I was boarded on. Enough talk of this nonsense regarding rafts and ships, though, the point I am attempting to convey to you, Dearest, is that every waking moment is precious. Only the God above knows our fate. Why just the other day I witnessed a boy of no more than eighteen years trampled under the wheels of a carriage. The poor bastard had no battle to fight. Seeing this horrendous event unfold permitted me to appreciate each moment that could certainly be our last. That is why I must ask you a question. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife? And please, Dearest, do not think silly of me for proposing in such a nontraditional manner. If I waited until the moment I was in your presence again, the opportunity might have been lost. And to be completely truthful I could not wait until we were reunited because thoughts of you have been floating in my mind since the moment we last parted. I pray you ponder my proposal and do justice to my inquisition.

Very Truly Yours,

Most of the time, time travel is a bad idea.

But on the other hand, it is a marriage proposal that mentions time travel. "You can just call me honey!"

TIME TRAVEL. She has to say yes! It's hard to top that!
