View Full Version : China? Centipede Boss? Whats this?

I was searching for a specific picture of a centipede using google search to use to frighten my little sister, and this pic came up in the search:

I hadn't seen anything like it before, was wondering which version of MS has this map/boss and whether there's any chance of it coming to global in anybody's opinion.

China Maplestory, and it's from Shanghai.

We'd probably get it sooner or later but it's crap.

That's the level 50 boss in Shanghai WaiTan. It's old apparently and I think MSEA has it...

That SS is from SEA too.

the area itself is nothing special, I personally hope GMS never gets it, it sucks so bad...

Yeah. But its awesome training spots for lvl 2x~3x, the drops totally rawk. Bows of Magical Destruction and Seclusion Wristguards dropping like crazy, anyone? Though it got kinda deserted after CPQ/ArPQ was released, but ppl still do train there. And the Giant Centipede boss drops great items like Liu Bei Dagger and Steelys.

At least its a start to the rest of China, that mean's we're 1 step ahead of u guys at Global in getting China =D However, this map is REALLY old, I still can remember it was released in the second patch when I first started Mapling. It came out right after we got Zipangu (Mush Shrine and Showa) in October '06. Thats like 2 years ago >_>
