Yesterday a friend told me there's some sort of berserk glitch wich occurs after dieing and beeing ressed. Basically it's the complete opposite of what berserk normally does. Once the glitch occurs it makes you do 100% damage under 40% (my berserk treshold) and do 200% above all that. First we tested it with crusher and then we figured it would work for roar.

The screenshots are taken by a friend since I can't see the increased damage myself only others can. The glitch works for every skill affected by berserk but since berserk and roar are normally an impossible combination we ssed this. The damage is on horntail buff not my apple damage or something.

Wow, yeah after being ressed I've noticed that it takes longer to kill monsters with berserk. o.O The damage still shows the same for me though, so I just go to CS and fix it. I never tried killing monsters without zerk, so I never noticed that. Roar with berserk is insane. :o

So dying + ressing is the way to go if you have low amount of hp?
Interesting, let's do that on ht.

I'm surprised it took someone so long to bring something like this to light. Being able to do full damage with full HP is just awesome for DKs. I still think they should change the crusher animation while zerked though. Making it black or something would be so sweet, or like red/orange as if you're on fire XD.

It's semi old, I noticed a friend of mine doing serk damage with higher hp in mid august, didn't know it had to do with rez though.
Lol @ increased damage with no additional MP cost.
I wonder why hardly anyone noticed this yet...

Probably because you can't see the increased damage yourself and berserk doesn't cost any additional mp.
With all the times I've died and been ressed at ht, I wonder how many times I've been glitched there. =x

If there's a glitch like this.. I wonder if there's a glitch where if you die with Sharp Eyes (Or any other buff, such as MW or an Apple) and get revived, when the timer runs out would you keep the buff (Without being able to see your increased damage)?
I doubt it..

but it really does the dmg? or just show the numbers
because i remember power guard had that glitch, that the fighter/page was unable to saw the real dmg taken, but the other player could see you getting a 3487193085194 dmg instead

I think there are two damage numbers being calculated. The damage you do is calculated via client .exe in order to preserve real-time continuity with what we see and do, but the server takes care of the actual damage reduction of the monsters being attacked (this is probably why we can't see our damage with Heaven's Hammer). The server also informs anybody else in the region about the damage we do or take, so the server's number is shown for other people. Theoretically both numbers should be the same.

The player affected actually sees the 10k-16k roars while others see 20k-32k allthough the damage is real. Newties dieing in 3 hits don't lie :)
I remember friends using this when berzerk/4th first came out. iirc there were those valentines baskets that made you not lose any exp that you made with those lame chocolates, so it was easy to use then. So, kinda old glitch, just not publicized.

Also, DrK's dying just for this is pretty much unlikely. UNLESS you die in a boss map (only lose 1%), losing 10% for this......well isn't worth it since 10% in higher levels take a damn'd up long time to get back.
Might as well whip it out if you somehow die out of the blue O.o"
P.S. Even wasting a Charm isn't worth it, IMO. You might as well get killed while training, lol

Why would you waste NX for a safety charm just to glitch -_-

if you only log off during server checks, you only need 1 per week. you can mts enough crap drops to get 640 nx in a week.

I think CCing, CSing, MTSing or logging out will cancel the glitch.

This would be absolutely AMAZING for crimson guardians

My theory
Falling into zerk range (including 0 HP) flips an "on/off" type switch to activate berserk. This switch is reversed when healed (on becomes off). Health given by rez may not count as healing, so you remain in berserk "on" status. Falling into Zerk range again flips the switch again, making it "off" again. When you heal back up, it reverts to "on."

Indeed :P
I think this has some interesting implications for priest/DrK partying - no more "don't heal me" lol. being able to be healed AND be zerked is quite amazing, no joke, even if it is a glitch. I won't be using this though, it is 100% against the design of the skill, so it seems quite obviously bannable, let alone that I would feel like I was cheating...
This glitch is bullsh1t maybe you have a small chance on being glitched but I just wasted a charm trying this out and it does not work.

You read that, correct?
I have a laptop standing next to me standing on the same map and the dmg did not increase.

Yeah it doesn't seem to work everytime. My gf just tried it out on wyverns and it didn't work. They didn't die in one hit.

LoL?
what the guy ment is that you cant see the berserk dmg yourself being the drk that died but other people on your map can. but I was checking on my hsmule's screen while attacking drk and the dmg did not change.

For some reason though this thread has been up for a long time (edit: ALMOST) no one's mentioned a very simple thing.
This is a GLITCH. A GLITCH people. To the best of my knowledge, Nexon bans for glitches, if it can get its head out of its ass for long enough to find the glitchers. Reference OPQ, Bigfoot, I think even that one time when marksmen were being autobanned for a glitch occurring.
What I see as unfair is that Nexon punishes the players for its own screwups. They make these glitches possible and then it's YOUR fault, not THEIRs for using it. That being so, I think doing this is a bad idea. Unless you want to rely on Nexon's customers service in sending a ticket if they do ban you.

Yeah, I'd love to use this all the time if true, but it's still glitch abuse, and it'd feel like cheating.

I edited my post before you made this, because I noticed your other post. :f6:
I think we all know by now that glitches that give you an advantage are ban-able. But you should also know that I wanted this too be clear, I wanted to know if this was true or not. For example If I'd fk up during zakum and die by accident then after stay below 45% HP while it wouldnt be needed? But yeah as I saw this didnt work I wont need to worry about that. And I dont think any1 here was planning to abuse such thing I was just curious if it was true.

I plan on testing it for kicks with my friend (lol, lv 130 DrK leeching a bishop?), but really just, like you said, to know about it if it occurs in the future for me. I would really hate to waste effort to stay in zerk mode and have it actually do nothing, or to get banned for doing zerk damage in normal HP.

There's also the possibility of it being patched from the time it was made to now. Nexon doesn't always tell the players everything that happens, as we all know.

With Nexon it's better to be safe than sorry, because its collective corporate intellect only beats that of a six year old's with Turrette's Syndrome by 5 fail points.

This glitch is bullsh1t maybe you have a small chance on being glitched but I just wasted a charm trying this out and it does not work.
Did you go down under Berserk HP after being resurrected? It first happened to me after HT a while back. I tried it again after hitting 140 (so I wouldn't have to waste a charm); you have to lower yourself to Berserk and pot/heal back above it after you're resurrected for it to work. That or it may be patched by now; I'll test it again after I level today.
Also, the thing about this glitch is that it requires the Dark Knight to die. Unless that Dark Knight is at a low EXP or is 12x and plan to train for an overly extended period, he/she'll likely use a charm...which in turn requires the use of NX...and we all know how much Nexon America HATES it when we do that right? However, this is only a speculation; if and when they patch it (if they haven't already), we'll see.

I had it once, 2hit-killing monsters I shouldn't be able to. Next time I tried to clarify its reliability, it did not work xD
