Just remember this above quote, Goals. Any stat Elemental Wand is inherently better, ESPECIALLY for ArchMages, than any other weapon in the game. So at LEAST you have one.

Consider MSEA for a moment. The version barely has ANY lvl 130 Elemental Wands out; most Magicians just use WHATEVER Elemental weapon they can get their hands on, if they even can. Here in gMS we have it extremely well, as basically anyone can get tons of the wands. GenesisPro even said he 30%d one, which wouldn't be done if they were as rare as they are in MSEA.

So don't worry. I +4'd mine with 60%s, leaving the stats at 148/5. Am I happy? Of course not. But just give it time. You'll be able to get another one, and you'll scroll it to much better stats than you are.

TWO WHOLE MAGIC!? ARE YOU CRAZY!? What was your old weapon before? Was this better or worse? Did it compensate for those lost two magic?

Before the deputy star, I downgraded two int from a speigalman necklace just to gain 90 hp since 90 hp meant taking an extra 450 damage which was much more useful than 2 int.

I lost a net total of 5 M.Atk from my wand and earrings. The reason I had to sell my old wand and earrings was because I needed mesos to get MW 20 and Blizzard 30.

I'm not really happy, because I'm actually broke. I would merchant like hell but I'm currently dipping into a real life friend who is on hiatus' funds to merchant lulz (he's giving me 3 days >_>). My wand's value dropped so much that it's worth about 400m. . . I think it's MapleStory's way of saying I've been too lucky so I should have my share of bad luck ><. Most of my funds actually come from merchanting various Elemental Wands you see. I gained approximately 4b from three very cheap wands I found in the FM.

Make do with what you have.
I now have both fire and poison staffs.

My fire is 4int 1luk 124magic.
(If only one more scroll worked, it would have the same TMA as my poison. D:
O well... 3 magic isn't going to make much of a difference. LoL.)

My poison is 6int 125matk.

Your staff beats my staves in magic attack by a lot.

And don't clean slate it. It might break, especially with the 20% clean slates.

I TOTALLY feel that way too sometimes. If I scroll something really nice, i tend to badly scroll things for a while after. But you should try and keep optimistic about it. Beating yourself up won't do any good. Just try and get back on your feet money-wise, and worry about getting your magic back later. (I mean isn't MW20 and Bliz30 a LOT more important than 5 magic?)

Plus like everyone else said. ANY elemental wand > ANY other weapon, for a AM. Eemental Boost > Magic.

i had a very sexy Wizdom staff but i only had enough money for the lvl 70 elemental staff :( so i just bought one, and got +4 on 60%'s not great.. not bad... just meh

my wand was 4/7 (pretty much 60%) I'm happy :heart: Just don't forget, having a elemental XXXXXX w/ any scrolls landed is much better than any wands out there :f2:
