Cross Piercing appears to be unchanged, except for the 2% damage increase from being four hits.
Soul Purify has been corrected to remove its MP draining effect that the level readout never noted to begin with, only the description.
Unicorn Spike gets a justified damage increase and effect improvement. The 5 hit limit made it not worthwhile. 20 hits on a boss can be considerable, though with Ring of Ishtar, it'll go by too quickly, like a Bow Master casting Ultimate Inferno for the DoT.
Gust Drive gets a deserved delay decrease, though it may still be garbage. Description change just clarifies the jumping requirement; it previously only stated you needed 120% Jump, it did not say you needed to have jumped.
Ring of Ishtar's movement ability was removed. Passive damage increase to Strike Dualshot was added.
Legendary Spear's damage seems somewhat unwarranted. Woops. Didn't notice Legendary Spear had 100% Critical Rate before and that was removed. Seems okay now. The passive boost to Leap Tornado seems necessary since Leap Tornado was one of those skills that are only useful in 3rd job, and not even very much at that it seems.
Defense Break is a small helper compared to other jobs that have constant reduction, since Legendary Spear's defense reduction affected them a lot less due to this mechanic.
High Kick Demolition's description clarifies it has a passive damage increase to Charge Drive.

I like the direction they're taking with passive skill bonuses. It really promotes the fact that skills from previous job levels are useful and can still be used. Even though Strike Dualshot was the 3rd job single target, it becomes a really really strong 4th job 4target skill with this buff, doing ~8000%/s to 4 monsters I believe, which is almost as much as most mob skills on 6.

Am I wrong or did they get the level requirement for the 'reverse' and 'timeless' bowguns backwards? (lvl 125 for the 3 level reverse and lvl 120 for the 5 level timeless)

And as far as Spear goes, it gained damage but it lost its 100% crit ability. Fair trade in my eyes.

Yeah, the damage change is almost 0%, but now it can get a boost from Critical Hit Rate effects.

I think the biggest change is the nerf to Ring of Ishtar so you can't move using it any more.
I'm looking at this more and wondering why Gust Drive is so bad, and I'm gonna guess it's like Flying Assaulter and it has the ability to chain into Charge Drive more quickly than the delay listed. Otherwise, it's useless except for travel and rushing. Its damage is so bad, 2nd job skills from pretty much every other class does better DPS.

Fiel, does the data state the maximum range of Dual Bowguns anywhere?

Sucks. Guess I'll hop on KMS when these get released and hope I can get some range tests as well as speed tests done. And then maybe level to 3rd job to see how bad Gust Drive and Leap Tornado really are.

If it has lower range, it may justify some of the strength it has compared to other archers early on, as well as the rushing and movement skills. Have you checked if there were additional delays involved with Charge Drive? The skill tables were missing the second attacking animation involved as well.

Anyways. I should get some sleep. lol.

That sure is some nice exp gain in tespia, 119-120 in around 5 minutes...

I'm hating how every skill nowdays hits for 74515414523 times and fills up the screen. I'd much rather see 1 hit of 40k than 4 hits of 10k, so I can see whats going on and not get lost in a sea of numbers...

Leap Tornado is looking really nice for utility. Strike Dualshot dominates heavily though.

I could see them being used once but keeping the stats it used to have. Basically a super powered clean slate scroll.

I absolutely agree with you there. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, instead of removing the 999k limit, they instead made it so that you hit several times to bypass the limit. Not really sure why they did that. It makes classes like DBs annoying as hell to play with. "Hey they're attacking that one guy" *50x1k show up on the screen, rapidly multiplying...* "Yay...my screen...now I can't see anything."

It'll indefinately charge nx to get it though. But yeah that's pretty much gurranteeing a potential 20 attack cape with 3 slots.

Agreed. I wish they could just remove ishtar for another skill that works well if combined with other skills.


EDIT : geez i guess what im saying is they should be like F/P mages, post jump :s combined skills for pwn.

The first and last line are Total Damage +9% and Total Damage +6%. I'm not sure about the center line, but it could be Total Damage +6% too.

Yep, the center line is too, it's +21% Total Damage. The one in the inventory is 30% Boss Damage, 20% Boss Damage, and 9% Matk

I mean, sure, bowmen have always been the worst in that department (tied with pirates) since we have no shield or 3rd tier top/bottom combos. But come on, now even another archer gets a free potential slot? Ugh, well at least they don't use crossbows... don't want Inflation Round 2.

Edit: Wtp? It gives weapon potential stats?? Ok, everything I said is now 500% more relevant.

Agreed, they could even keep the animation and have it suck in mobs with a tornado/vacume thing like monster magnet and then proceed with their FATAUS combo.

Fiel, if your extractions show "0 slot", does that mean the "Number of slots left" line actually show in-game, albeit still showing 0 ? so if it doesnt show in your extraction, theres no "number of slots left" line in game right ?

Asking because i wanna know if Chaos warrior event items are potential-able since it says "0 slots" on your extractions.

As of the current moment, "0 slots" means that either the slots field doesn't exist or there are actually 0 slots. It was changed to be this way due to people constantly asking if I made an error in the extractions by not listing the amount of slots for a given item when that property is unlisted in the data.

It is just me noticed that some of the dual bow doesn't have str requirements on it. Which means you can probably go strless even without alot of funding

You should notice how all of them are listed as having 'Equip Tradeblock' and have the 'Epic Item' flag. Chances are high that these are just merely event versions of their usual weapons, and may or may not be quite hard to obtain.

EDIT: Something I've been meaning to ask, Fiel... Are the Dual Bows officially a two-handed weapon, or a one-handed weapon? The reason I ask is that before, we thought it was a two-handed weapon due to how the data was organized, but now that we know the quivers take up the Shield slot, does this mean that the Dual Bows are now considered one-handed?

EDIT: Something I've been meaning to ask, Fiel... Are the Dual Bows officially a two-handed weapon, or a one-handed weapon? The reason I ask is that before, we thought it was a two-handed weapon due to how the data was organized, but now that we know the quivers take up the Shield slot, does this mean that the Dual Bows are now considered one-handed?

They're 2 handed. Someone on Tespia checked by trying to use a 1 handed scroll on it (which did not work).

Could someone on Tespia give us the information to find their weapon multiplier? i.e. damage range, total weapon attack, total str & dex.

That doesn't make as much sense from a balance standpoint, since Bows are 1.30, don't get potential from the new Arrow equip since they can't use it (right?), don't get attack from USE Arrows, get less attack from Concentrate than Ignis Lore, and overall has lower total %/s. Oh well.

65 (Weapon) + 3 (Ring) + 24 (Blessing) = 92 Att
308 DEX
81 STR

1595*100/[(4*308+81)*92] = 1.32

Soul Purify has been corrected to remove its MP draining effect that the level readout never noted to begin with, only the description.

Are you sure?

Could be the beginner skill which replenishes like 10% of her hp and mp every 4 seconds or something like that.

It's not that from that skill, they still have the recovering MP from damage dealt.

In a zakum solo the mercedes' mp never goes down unless when the character stops attacking
from being hit/stunned.

The first and last line are Total Damage +9% and Total Damage +6%. I'm not sure about the center line, but it could be Total Damage +6% too.

Yep, the center line is too, it's +21% Total Damage. The one in the inventory is 30% Boss Damage, 20% Boss Damage, and 9% Matk

I thought total damage % doesn't stack... ?
