Infighter Question.

Ok, just wanted to know if any damage whore infighters out there realize like i realize that gettting the minimum dex required for equips isnt that difficult, even at 20 base dex, and instead have decided to go low dex, and use a STR overall so as to not waste points. I mean if you can get 28 dex helm( not ridiculously impossible) 22 dex HT pendant, 10 dex FS, 10 dex Cape, 10 dex earrings, then thats already 90 dex. And that stuff not even all THAT great(better then i have on my NL, but its by no means godly), i mean 12 dex shoes, 12 dex cape, 12+ dex earrings and over 30 dex helms arent unheard of. So is anyone going STR overall? or if you are going top/bottom, how are you doing that, just common class, i guess?

I guess getting Cape with STR could be done too.

I guess my question is who isnt going straight up 20 base dex, and doing something a bit more complicated for extra damage. Maybe scrolling pirate overall for STR and DEX, or something


Also, I believe i heard somewhere, and have been telling people, that they will release pirates in 2 waves, first one being equips and drops and such, and second releasing the class. Was i just talking out my ass, or is there evidence to support something like that(i.e. other versions doing it)

Cape STR + Overall DEX > Cape DEX + Overall STR. Overall STR scrolls are still pretty rare, so it's harder to obtain a good one.

That pretty much sums it up. With the lack of any real overall stregth scrolls in the market, it is too hard to make a strength overall. Perhaps with the Alchemy skill we could make a nicer overall before scrolled for dex. What nexon should do is put some of these scrolls into circulation: not only the pirate weapon scrolls, but also more of the gach-only scrolls as well. This would ideally eliminate the inflation on these scrolls when Pirates come out.

but you base your question on the fact that one can achieve a 28 dex zhelm and a HT necklace. There are still ways of making a pirate without the use of these 2 important items, but that, effectively, costs more.

But you need to remember that 28 dex overalls are rare, and usually the people who get HT pendants are the ones who run on a main.

I'm going 20 base dex, but I'm getting:

9 dex YSS
Dep. Star
3 att 6 dex Cape (Maybe 2/11)
15 dex Overall
Zhelm

+65 dex right there. If I can find another 5 dex, I'd be just fine at level 90 knuckle.

actually i was including the dex without overall could be as high as 90, with good funding but not being godly. The 28 dex was from helm.

Anyone care to answer my other question, even if it is just supposition would we get pirate equips and scrolls dropping before pirates came out, or do you think we would get both class and items at the same time.

Also, whats this about overall STR scrolls being rare? They arent that rare in Khaini, and are cheaper then DEX scrolls. True without 60% STR overalls might be a tad harder to get done well, but still.
