As the title suggests, this shall henceforth be EmuFarm's blandtastic thread!
Okay, so I'm Obike (oh-buh-kee, Far too many people miss pronouce it...) and I lead EmuFarm. It's far from a glamourous wonderful guild, but I like it. I mainly recruit people who I see are friendly and respectful. There is no level requirement. If you play Maple to be in a high level "pro" guild, this is definately not for you. I'm looking for people who play Maple to interact with others and just basically have fun. If you play Maple to talk and make friends, then this is definately something to look into!
Guild Rules as of 09/08/08 (May change):
Legit : Anyone not on ranks, known to be a hacker/ex-hacker, or caught hacking will be removed immediately.
Respect : As with any community, people have different opinions. It's fine if you don't agree with someone else, as long as you respect that person's right to his or her own opinions.
Honorable : It's fine if you make mistakes, everyone does. I do not tolerate KSers (unless you're defending something that's rightfully yours or a friend's), scammers, liars, cheaters, jerks, traitors (Yes, that means almost anyone from my old guild FallenEmpire. the only exceptions are those that immediately agreed to rejoin... People that this applies to know what I mean!), etc. . . ..
Active : Be Active! You don't have to log for hours a day, but try to be decently active so we know you're alive! If you go on vacation or can't go online, let someone know!
Spam : Absolutely no spammers! I never liked people who spam, mainly because it is disruptive. If someone levels or it's someone's birthday and you want everyone to know, let me or a jr. know and we'll post it on the Guild Notice for everyone to see.
3 Digit IQ/EQ : Not literally meaning 100+ IQ, but I despise stupidity. This really just means no idiots. There are really no stupid questions, just stupid people.
Rules may be changed to better accomodate the guild's needs.
Reasons for Expulsion:
Violations : Warnings may be given, but continued violations of any of the guild rules will result in expulsion.
Disrespect : I don't care if you've had a bad day or something, if you go around disrespecting other guild members, you will be immediately removed and not allowed to rejoin.
Inactivity : Members who are never seen online (for more than a month or so) will be removed.
Drama : If somebody causes guild drama, I will personally pick a side and expel the other. Sadly these things cannot be prevented, only cut away. It's almost like cancer to guilds.
Misc. : Any member may be expelled for any reason by myself or a jr. leader without notification. (This is simply to prevent smartasses from finding a loophole in my rules)
Any Jr. Leader has the rights and privileges to use their powers to the full extent. They are free to recruit and/or expel as they wish without questions. If any Jr. leader is unfair or bias, let me know and I'll look into it. If I am personally unfair or bias, let my jr's know and they'll smack some sense into me. =P I do not care how much you beg or plea, what your level is, whether or not you are well known. YOU WILL NOT BE A JUNIOR LEADER BY REQUESTING IT. any Jr. leader will be appointed whenever I feel they are ready.
For now the ranks have very little meaning...

Guild Activities/Things to consider:
Interesting Guild Chats : We're not a bunch of horndogs that talk about sex all day! We actually talk about things of interest! I also educate guild members about random facts every now and then. :3
Guild Boss Runs : Several guild members and Alliance members have become more active, and some are always looking for a party to take on bosses. Guild Alliance Zakum run this weekend w00t.
Guild Party Quest : We need more people for GPQ's, enough said.
Endoguild Training : We do have a few people that often help others level! I myself was helped to level 70 by one of our members, and then to 120 by others! [This service will only be available to older members or members we're certain aren't trying to just get us to train them then leave. This will NOT be available to anyone still in the recruitment guild.]
Endoguild Competitions : Often people will "race" each other to a certain level or make friendly bets with each other.
Guild Marketing : We help each other earn money and get better items, but new members are usually left out of the loop for obvious reasons.
Pirate Guild : I recently created a guild just for pirates. If you're interested in joining with your pirate, feel free to ask and I'll add you in! Currently there is no room and pirates of the Guild Alliance get first dibs, but I will expand it past the alliance's needs later.
Private Activities : There are a few activities that we do privately. They are guild-only and they are not publicly disclosed. ;]

Any amount of money donated to the guild goes toward the guild. I will not spend, lend, invest, or otherwise use any of our treasury on non-guild related expenses, period!

This lists only the re-made EmuFarm's donations. Many donated to the original EmuFarm which was disbanded to make the new. I would list those that contributed to the old guild as well, but I only remember 1 person out of the bunch, and it would be unfair to only list one, even though he donated several million. You know who you are, if you read this <3
