After two and a half months of consistant yet hard training, I finally reached my goal!

Yes, JMS is a bit easier than GMS, especially if you have 2x EXP cards + leeching.

It's very easy to hit Level 120 if you have 2x EXP cards plus leech from a Bishop in 2.5 months.

In case people here forgot what the "right thing to do" is, I'll remind you. JMS banned pretty much every non-Japan country from accessing their game. That means they don't want us in there.

Being the first wasn't my goal. My goal was to get past 3rd job, since I hate 3rd job no matter which class I am. Either way, I've had a LOT more fun in the past two months than I did in the past three years in Global. I've gotten a lot of experience from playing my pirate and I did have to train my way up until level 110. I was only leeched trained at level 110 because I fell behind, due to leaving for vacation to see my mother. There were a few of us who were training together and when I left, they all zoomed ahead of me, so they trained me to 120 so I could train with them effectively again.

The economy in JMS is different, you can make easy money in JMS. (Green Bamboo hats are like 7m clean)

When JMS released Pirates, people of AIJMS started to create an English guild, so they could help each other and get to know each other.

~You dont actually fight Super Kairin, you just have to spam pots for 2 minutes and you get Super Transform (Kind of a let down :/)

Well, I reached level 120 tonight (as you can see in my damage thread), but I noticed some differences than what we have stored in the Pirate Database. When I got my advancement, I looked at my skills and I had four core skills, not three. The core skills were Dragon Strike, Rapid Fists, Energy Orb and Wind Booster. Then I decided to try out the fight with Super Kairin. When I talked to Kairin and she sent me to the map where I had to fight her, it said that I must survive 2 minutes in the fight to get Super Transform.

I've never bothered with this site, I never even came here before, but when we found out that you're trying to say that he was handfed 120, I wanted to come over here to clear up the ridiculous assumptions.

For the record, he started his pirate on the day pirates were released. Deadpool was still only 5x, Tomo was a sin, and the server was still, for the most part, in question into whether or not it would thrive. We knew NO priests/bishops at the time and the only thing that almost all players were able to rely on was me making sales for them in the FM. Justin solo'd almost the entire way to 100, hell, he got to 70 in two weeks alone. I sure as hell didn't train with him, Tomo as well. Everyone soloed to 70.

No one joined him at golems, duals, squids, or anywhere else he was training at at the time and I knew leeching wouldn't work well with Shaddap, considering the huge level gap and how I didn't even wanna play the character at the time. Only Tomo and I were training together, AFTER Tomo soloed to 73. Justin was always ahead of us in levels. Justin partied with us for a few levels when we trained at himes but he didn't spend anywhere near as much time as Tomo and I did, the screenshots over in AIJMS prove it.

He did, however, leech from 110-120 because Tomo offered it. You act as if you wouldn't take HS+genesis training if you had the option, any type of realistic, effective high level training ends up being that way, hence why all newtie/skelegon maps end up having bishops on some side mobbing everything they can. And I sure as hell jump on any offers from a bishop, genesis or not, to train.

So to you, is the only fair/"fun" way of reaching 120 to do it without 2x, a .25% exp increase and without a bishop or leeching allowed?

the main thing that kyo is trying to point out is that he had a lot of advantages. jMS is without a doubt the easiest version of MS besides private servers. I got to 70 in three weeks there, and if that sounds like a normal number, then how about this one? 110-120 in one day in a party without any ultimates. the exp bonus makes an extreme difference once you get to higher leveled training, and the availability of 2x cards & leeching (if even for just 10 levels, the most difficult 10 levels at that) makes the game a LOT easier.

as for the whole "if you had the opportunity to leech from a bishop, would you do it?" question, I know it wasn't directed at me but I'll answer it from my point of view anyway. I've had free bishop leeching offered to me in the past and you can easily buy leeching services on kMS for fair prices, but I choose not to do it. I'd rather spend time playing my character and enjoying the game instead of going AFK while someone else levels me. that's just boring and defeats the purpose of the game, in my opinion.

also, the whole "first" business, I pointed out my opinion once already on aijms I think. I don't understand why it matters so much if you're first at everything. maybe it's just a pet-peeve of mine, but whenever someone says it, it always comes off as arrogance to me.

Ah, don't get me wrong though I think he did a great job getting there, but I think he is just perhaps looking for a bit too much attention. =/ I could have posted that I was the first BW Paladin in Bello, but eh not worth it.

Heya rehash! :glitter: I definitely agree that it's the easiest considering realistically, it would have taken us all twice(and change) the time to have gotten to the level we're all at now if we were in say, KMS or GMS before the 2x. And about the leeching, I don't mean rope leeching, I just consider fighting alongside someone with genesis still as leeching(since genesis does a crapload of work). From what I saw, he was fighting alongside Tomo from 110-117, I *think* 118 may have been rope leeched with 119 definitely being it(i was training with Tomo, Justin on rope overnight).

When I train with Tomo on Shaddap, he does the top half of the skelegon map while I do the bottom half. I still feel like it's leeching in a way, since he kills so much, so fast, despite me doing my part in keeping the spawn flowing. He knows that Justin and I don't like to just sit there while he does all the work and honestly, Tomo doesn't like it much himself when people just sit around, he'll go to town or take a break if he sees that.

And the whole "i'm first" kinda thing...some people play for the social factor, some play for ranks, and some play casually for the mix of both. He does take pride in his ranking and worked to maintain himself in the top 100, server-wide. I definitely agree that this is an attention-seeking topic(obviously), but who wouldn't be happy about being able to hold that title? I have no idea if you made any posts when you hit 70 in any of these boards, but I know you had to be even a little proud of yourself and/or accomplished when it happened. :wink:

No, I think that's no accomplishment what I did, because there are some things I left out on purpose... There were technically higher level bw users than me that didn't advance, and nobody would make that class because it sucks. He made a great accomplishment, I couldn't level that fast, and I respect him for that. But I just think he's trying to get a bit too much attention for it. Don't get me wrong nothing against him, not saying I'm humble too, I'm bad at practicing what I preach. =P Ya, guess I did post that twice, but too lazy to find another example! Best of luck with your future leveling and hope you can be the first to 150, and on. All I meant that threads aren't exactly needed for this type of post.

No one else has popped up claiming it, thus making him the first. All of us who play JMS and KMS are aware of everyone's levels over at adventuresinjms.com and based on the rankings, almost all other pirates over 120 are either on servers with no english community or have been tracked by us in the server we play in. If another native english speaking player hit 120, feel free to show yourself with some proof. Otherwise, get lost JoeTang.
