true, my mistake, well, if anyone can confirm it, i'll be waiting patiently (is not a pally) and the boost on crusher is nice, but still pales in front of impale, both in speed and power.

Now they just need to make ACB less powerful and Paladins will be as they should be. Defensive warriors that get major boosts when an elemental weakness is present, but terrible against neutral mobs.

I think if they're spending this much time on warriors and implementing all the changes to the official version they might be serious about finalization this time. They can't seem to decide on blast damage though. >.>

I suppose, but I still think that dealing 700% damage is overkill. Especially when Combat Orders and elemental weaknesses are factored in.

If they are only doing warriors other classes are going to be majorly pissed. Who else agrees that every class should have a "stance" skill in 4th job?Evans, Dbs, Warriors, mechs, bams and whs have one. Just give on to the rest of the classes. Warriors should have a movement / +Speed skill then, that's on spammable status, none of this "2sec rush delay BS". Warriors only "movement" modifier is their mount lol

Nexon Korea cares... Nexon America doesn't.
I consider the accuracy bonus from AFA pointless, unless after chaos it somehow is helpful. I remember Fiel mentioning the accuracy formula got changed after chaos.
Who else thinks monster park will be another NX-required area? If it wont be then why would they add ripped ticket pieces like for golden temple. They also made those Treasure Monsters that spawn around the world drop monster park tickets 100%. Why doing all of that if the tickets are worth only 30k from the NPC?

Accuracy in Chaos is more helpful in the sense that it affects your hit rate more than it does in Big Bang, but it is completely useless since your main stat will always provide accuracy and you should have enough of it to 100% hit everything.

So if it still isn't worthwhile compared to the character/monster level deduction, what was the point of adding ACC to existing items (+420 ACC to ludibrum cape, +400 ACC to time traveler helm) and ACC% to advanced final attack? They must have something planned in the near future.

One would hope, but history has taught me that Nexon doesn't have a firm grasp on its own mechanics.
I mean, look, they clearly have no idea what the pineapple to do with accuracy.
It's a stat that was grandfathered in with Big Bang, seemingly out of some obligation towards and 'RPG standard'.
In reality, player Accuracy and monster Avoid could have been removed entirely (or until they decide what to do with it).

Well, if they made it so Dexterity and Intelligence were the only stats that affect physical and magical accuracy (respectively), then there "might" be a use for it with warriors again. Other than that, they really did mess up accuracy, I think they should have left it alone when BB was released, and just made it so warriors had just a smidge more from Mastery.
But it's like you said, they don't seem to know how their own mechanics work.

do you mind? it's my own opinion, if you think it's wrong you should try pointing out how, instead of making fun of it.
You think Nexon America pays attention to little details? The only "little details" I remember they have taken care of were the grammar corrections over NPC dialogues brought in their biggest patch ever, big bang. Other than that, no I don't see how they do. Heck, even half of their exclusive content is composed of recoloured elements from other existant areas. Oh and bug fixes don't count.

Why should I try to educate an uneducated, unsupported post?
- Where exactly are details lacking from them?
- Better yet, do you know the size of Nexon America's Maplestory development team?
- Do you know the size of Nexon Korea's Maplestory development team?
- Do you know how much artistic license Nexon America is legally able to take?
- Do you know what the approval process for exclusive content is?
- Hell, do you know what fraction "half" equals? Because I'm pretty sure CWK is the only bit of exclusive content GMS has, and I clearly am overlooking all these "recolours".
Your post was made of sheer ignorance cockily sneered by a mouth that cares more about being trendy than being accurate.
Instead, you've opted for the "if I label a turd as an 'opinion', then it becomes an immutable product of my mind" school of discussion which I've been wanting to locate for years so that I can burn it down.
"Blue is the best color ever." - That is an opinion that needs no follow-up since it's clearly a personal taste.
"Blue seems to be a more popular color." - Still an opinion, but you should explain how you arrived at this belief.
"Blue is a color." - Not an opinion.

I don't agree. Every class should have its own pros and cons. What they should do is remove skills from obviously way too well-rounded classes like Mechanic and Dual Blade...

Dual Blades are somewhat less well rounded than they used to be, since their ultimates are gone/will be removed.

Considering how much crap gets added to Nexon America like the return of EXP cards after BB and all the overpowered equips and stuff that KMS doesn't even think about, I'm thinking that there is barely any review from Nexon KR on Nexon NA's content.
The only thing I heard is that Nexon NA sends them ideas and Nexon KR drew them out, but now they don't have to do that because they have a small division of Nexon KR people there.
If they really had to go through a "content approval" process, it's certainly extremely lenient.

With the advent of potential the OP factor of GMS items took a huge dive. Not even our VIP gear will be anything special once Chaos hits and the 121+ potential tier gets canceled and all the items will have their bonuses reverted to appropriate 71+ ones. Our 1.3x and 1.5x EXP event cards are as nothing compared to the new stacking of potentials currently in KMS (http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=41779). We do not even hold a candle to the imbalance that they create in KMS.

It has already been 100% confirmed that the 121+ tier goes away. What we have to support the reverting on current items would be the nature of the bonuses in the data, as explained by Fiel (I think), and what happened to the VIP Crossbow when they changed its level in GMS (the potential stats followed suit). This is not 100% proof of course, but it damn right tip the scales in favor of my hypothesis.

So you or someone you know potentialed a VIP xbow before it was changed server side (still lv 27), and when it was changed the potential on the existing lines changed and you witnessed this?

I remember seeing posts about it here and elsewhere. Also, by logic, in order to know the potential was broken on it, it would have had to be revealed. After the fix patch not a single "boohoo" post poped up on any forums I poke around at. As the final nail in the coffin the link Fiel provided tells us how the potential system works and is stored, different from the regular item stats I imagine. The 121+ tier simply cease to exist. Nothing there to be left on the items, the code links to a different outcome, namely the respective 71+ tier bonus.

You will not find any final proof since KMS did not have any lvl 121+ stuff prior to Chaos. But yes, the VIP x-bows corrected themselves with a patch and the data is such that you cannot have 121+ tier bonuses if the database for said bonuses is missing (as far as I understand Fiels work. Note that I aint a computer wiz by any means).

Fixed.
I'm not saying it will happen, nor do I believe it will, but there's always the chance that NxNA could choose to keep the current Potential system in tact. This would be one change that would not impact the compatibility with any future patches.
I can already see the petitions and whining as people's VIP weapons simultaneously get nerfed if it does get changed.

They have to change due to how the Potential stats are stored.
When you Potential an item, it doesn't lookup the stat once and store "this weapon has 8% W.Atk".
It's a reference. When the level changes, the reference changes.

I'd be more concerned that you change the reference and make the item not only display incorrectly [i'm envisioning <null> everywhere], but possibly make it so when you try to view it shit crashes due to referencing nonexisting values.
They didn't change the numbers of the potential references. They only changed the values of those references. I don't foresee any <null>s.

So then the stuff in 121+ points back to the 71+ tier or they just copied the 71+ tier into 121+, or similar "removal"? Cool.
Now to see how they screw it up when/if it comes here.
It's not really in tiers, but okay. Yeah, that's what they did.
