Can no longer see Monster HP bars

Yes, I have the setting turned on. I have relogged many times and restarted the client several times but to no avail. Has anyone else ever had this issue? It really annoys me cause I love having it on.

I've only ever had this issue on bugged monsters... ie. wolf spiders, yakuza girls, firebrands, bigfoot, elder wraiths...

Going into a map with only regular monsters fixed it. Somehow, I don't think that that's your problem though. Try to turn it off and back on; that fixed it once as well.

I've noticed something: Everytime the monster has an invicibility frame, the bar dissapears until you hit it again. If the KB animation is the invincible one (like elder wraiths), the numbers will probably hide the bar before it dissapears. Try it on regular monsters. ALSO, if you one hit KO them, the bar won't even show.

Knowing you, you must have tested it, but with this, you should be able to test it further.

It corrected itself when I went to Papulatus. Who knew Pap had magical UI healing abilities?Hmmmm if you go to Papu, do the bombs you hit have a HP Bar? Because I can't recall they have that, maybe there's a setting in the database that when you go to Papu the normal HP bars turn off, till you leave the place (correctly).

Maybe that didn't got resetted in the database somehow, and now that you've returned to Papu, it "corrected" itself, like it should do all the time.

I dunno, it's just a wild guess! :P
