Ok, so I'm thinking of making a Pirate in Yellonde, if it comes out before/with them. The only fundage I'm thinking of getting is NX. After exhausting 200 or so dollars in NX, I have no intention of buying more. So after looking through my other characters and trying to liquidate my unused, rusting gear, I'm wondering what the easiest way to get more items/gear to Trade-ify would be. I've still got a half dozen sets of Tobi to sell in Khaini, so I can still use my sin if he'd be faster than going to Kradia or something and making a new character. :/
So, what's the fastest way to make money via Trade? I managed to sell a Man Showa Towel pretty fast the other day, at only 30k mesos for 110 NX, it's not that bad. :f6:
One point:
I know Trade dun work in the new server for a while, I want the NX for Gach, possibly, and AP resets, ect.

Buy lots of Stormcaster gloves and just watch for them to go up in value slowly over time.

A lot, you would have to market a little to bit to even get 1 of them. That is what you should do; buy a store permit and just work your way up from nothing.

I just sell scrolls on MTS and as time passes, I'll have enough to buy more gach tickets, so therefore I just get more scrolls

I wish it were true.
Maybe at higher levels with certain classes, but certainly not at low levels

Merchanting really does help, i began a few days ago with 5m and now im up to 65m kinda slow compared to my friends but its really worth it

I started unfunded, never "played" the market and, to this day, I have never needed money.

Too true. In my opinion, unless you're terrible at understanding pot burn : exp ratios, you'll usually find yourself gaining meso per level.\
Playing the market is easy, as well. Sit down and take about an hour to find what is sold most often in shops, at what prices [take both highs and lows, and average them out], and what doesn't sell.
I personally can walk into the FM with 10m and walk out the next day with 35m.
Playing the market is key to being a huge meso holder on new servers. Good luck.

APQ is the probably best way to make money other than merchanting.
A one-time 20k NX fee translates into two trips per day to get Onyx Apples and sell each one for a decent sum. If you get two characters married, that's 4 trips per day. If you have two accounts with decent-level characters on them, you can simply have someone you trust a lot get on your fairly-high-level mule, and marry your two accounts to EACH OTHER, in which case you're paying for one wedding that gets you 4 passes to APQ a day. This is permanent unless you choose to discard the ring; if your own two accounts are married, I see no reason why you'd do that.
Even a godly merchanter will find this helpful because it's fairly easy and quick, and the apples you get are ALWAYS needed by people on your server. In Khaini they told me that the average Horntail run eats up 120 apples; you can imagine the demand as the pros look for them in FM and from each other, especially before the run.

You should visit the APQ area sometime before an HT run .. you see lots of HT runners.

Most people I know do APQ in advance and on a regular basis. I would imagine if you're a regular at HT you'll have some ready, because as I recall apples are a requirement for participating in the runs.
1 apple: 2.5 mil
10 apples: 25 mil
100 apples: 250 mil
400 apples: 1 bil
If you manage 4 trips to APQ a day on various married accounts, 400 apples is a feasible long-term project. Not as good as marketing, but it sure beats Double Drop, and stuff like that.

Indeed. I manage 3 aPQs a day usually, bad days i'll only find time for one.
I've had someone throw up 600 apples in a trade window before. :/ Ridiculous rich people.

But remember, he's saying how he wants to start out on Yellonde. Apple's aren't really going to be needed that much. It'll be a long while before they can Zak/HT.
Are those Meso Bags still in the CS? That could play a giant role in an apple's worth on Yellonde.

Well, if he's starting a new character and it's going to be a Pirate, I don't think he'll consider APQ until he's at a decent level to be invited/contribute to the APQ.
Also, why would you need AP resets if you're starting over new? You should already know how to build your character so that you don't have to reset at all :P
I don't think there's a 'secret' to MTS or making money on it, or even tips on using it that you don't already know. My only piece of advice would be to use some 20k to get yourself married once Yellonde takes off, and APQ as soon as it's feasible. By the time people get to a high enough level where the economy takes off, you'll have a nice stack of apples- assuming that there are people to complete the APQ with successfully.
Meso Bags are no longer in the CS.

I don't know much about aPQ, but I know I can get a friend to make a mule for it, since I doubt I'd find a willing girl. XD What exactly are the requirements to finish aPQ? :f6:
AP resets for if I add into the wrong stat, it's happened <_<, and to change my 5 Int 4 Luk into 4/4, as I doubt I'll get perfect 4/4 stats. Depending on how well off I become, I might consider HP washing a bit. :excellent:

The requirements to finish APQ is to be able to complete the Party Quest and kill Geist Rog.

Well, when I said requirements, I didn't mean it like that, I meant HP, damage, and other character aspects. :/

You can APQ after level 40, if I remember correctly. There's nothing challenging in the PQ, only the boss which is very easy if you have the correct party. About the damage it inflicts, I have no idea since most of the time it misses me.

So what level can you effectively kill it? o.o
*goes on Youtube*
It's level 95, 1.5m HP on body 3 and took a group of 3d jobbers 5 minutes. I think I can start between 75-80?
