Site will be down at approximately 4 am and provided all goes well will last an hour or two at most.

A request, if I may?
Next time we have a scheduled site downtime, can the annoucement be copied to Twitter rather than linked?
I somehow missed this notice, tried to get on, saw the "maintenance" vBulletin notice, but had no way of knowing when to expect it to end. Twitter didn't help because all it had was a tiny link back to the SP site, which was already down...

The problem with that would be with posts that contain over 140 characters.
Otherwise, it's a good idea.
