Is it worth making a new character now?
I thought about the circumstances..
The Resistance,
New bunch of characters, especially Mechanic, all look very fun and very overpowered :P
Ultimate Adventurer,
Get a Cygnus to 120. Then, get a beastly Adventurer. Although, you need to get the Cygnus to 120 first.. and then wait for the Ultimate Adventurer event..
Dual Blades,
But they don't share a cash shop inventory.. wtf is up with that? They're Explorers too!
Legends,
Meh.. they never interested me.. not very mapley :P
Explorers,
Most interesting. Idk if it's just me, but Explorers are the only classes that are worth making, I feel.. originalty <3
What do you think? :monocle:

I don't get why people put ultimate adventurers on such a pedestal. They can wear equips 10 levels early, start at 50, and have one extra skill. Besides that they are exactly like any other adventurer.
Also, the legend classes are much more story driven. Arans have more quests to give skills through the third job, and evans have story quests that give SP. So if you want to play a class with more of a plot, then those are a good choice.

Don't they also get 10% exp from all mobs, always?
And doesn't a Dark Knight with Soul Driver sound awesome? o-o

No and no.
Soul Driver doesn't really help Dragon Knights. Spamming Dragon Fury will probably be much, much faster for grinding and spamming Crusher or Sacrifice (I have no idea about Dark Knights post Big Bang) would be faster for bossing.
Cygnus classes get +10% experience when they LEVEL UP, which means once you hit 100% experience and you see the level-up animation, you get a "+EXP" animation, which awards you an automatic 10% of your total experience.
Ultimate Adventurers do not get this.

So.. UAs are overrated and not really worth it at later levels?

There isn't really any point in making one, since they start af 50 I'm assuming they miss a metric s'hit ton of HP/MP. Fuck that.

They're as worth it as any other adventurer, as long as 1-120 on a cygnus is as fast as 1-50 on an adventurer.

Yes, they do. They also get a shortage of inventory space.

So they get less MP.. and less inventory space..
The point?

If they could fix the missing HP of the DBs starting directly at 30 I'm sure they can fix the problems with UA. I think it's just a bug. But regardless, there is absolutely no point in waiting to make an adventurer to that patch, you'd be way higher than 50 when we get it if you start now. A level 120 Cygnus is a great idea to make though, since the new blessing of 24 att will be epic. And like ShiKage says, DrKs would be the warrior branch with the least use of the Cygnus skill.

True.. 24 Blessing is pretty epic, but I absolutely HATE wasting characters.
When I make a character, I prefer to know or alteast assume I'll be using this character a lot in the future.. whether for fun training, bossing, or making moneyy.
^^
And now.. im still undecided D:

Just see it as an investment. You get some bonuses, it is fun to play them to 120 and in the end you have a pro mule for storage or FM stuff. Some people insist on using their lvl 120 Cygnuses for dumb stuff like Zak or Pap, but they are just in denial because they refuse to accept that their highest level character is useless for anything than mule business and main character enpowerment.

Yes, they are.
Hmmm.. interesting.. but like I said before, I want a side character..
Although, UAs share the same Cash Shop inventory with Adventurers.. plus they benefits.. hmm..
But which Ultimate Adventurer is the best? (Uses Cygnus Skill most efficiently, worth using)
Paladin or Hero.
They have the best use of their Cygnus skill.

Well, honestly, it's not fair for other jobs lol
I was thinking about a Bandit, with Vampire.. then realized.. Vampire = 2nd Job... Soul Driver > Vampire
It seems too consistent though, sorry if I'm being annoying lol but a Hero/Paladin with Soul Driver = a Dawn Warrior, just over Level 120.. what's the point :P

Bingo. The Cygnus skills given to all the adventurers, UA or not, is just a fun little gimmick. That is not why you make a level 120 Cygnus.

Lol, okay.. thanks for clearing that up for meh :P
My decision now:
I still have no idea >_> will just keep thinking till an idea pops into my head.

I was thinking about a Bandit, with Vampire.. then realized.. Vampire = 2nd Job... Soul Driver > VampireTo clear thus up, UA Vampire is stronger than Cygnus. NW Vampire is 60% per hit and UA is 90% per hit. It is a noticeable difference since it strikes four times.
EDIT: I just checked it again, and apparently it only gets 2% of the damage as health instead of 5%. I suppose that at higher levels, it would be considerable though.

Still.. I'm undecided on this side character D=
Although.. I do have a Demethos Buccaneer, whom I've never played since El Nido came about :o
Been waiting to Server Transfer him over to El Nido, which let's face it, will take hella long time -_-
He's fully equipped too.. just no funds, they're all MTS'ed to El Nido lol
Thoughts? :f6:

If you don't have a Cygnus character yet, make one. I'd suggest Striker or Soul Master, but they're all fun in their own way.
If you already have one prepared, make a class you haven't played yet.
