So much of mythology remains unexplored in Maple Story. Since KMS had Greece, why not add some crazy items? Zeus' Lightning, Poseidon's Trident and Hades' Helmet? But then, why stop there? You could add these items as rewards for going to low traffic areas, which would increase traffic there. And stuff.
The following items all have a required level of 120. Except for the medals, they can all be traded with Platinum Scissors of Karma.
I'm not done adding locations.
None of the items have defense listed because that is boring.
Medals
* Survivor of Ragnarok
Collect all the bold items following this post. You do not need to wear any of them, they must all be in your inventory. To acquire this title, you will have already fulfiledl the requirements of "Bringer of Thunder". This medal prevents you from being dispelled, having a negative status cast upon you and heavily reduces all damage you take.
* Favored by the Gods
Assemble all the following underlined items in your inventory. They do not need to be worn at once, but they must be all in your inventory at once. You only need one of he items with "Athena" in their names.
Because of the large amount of items needed to acquire this item, the bonus is high. This medal grants +15% to every stat, +30% HP and MP and 30 Attack and Magic Attack. The bonuses are all reduced if the items leave your account. The items required to acquire this amazing medal are representative of the 14 Gods who are frequently depicted as having seats on Mount Olympus, except Hestia because pineapple Hestia.
* Ultimate Champion
Assemble all the following italicized items in your equipment tab. You do not need to wear them together. These items parallel the feats of Grecian heroes: Orion, Hercules, Perseus, Jason, Theseus, Oedipus, Odysseus and Achilles. This medal lets you ignore 20% of a monster's defense.
* Bringer of Thunder
Acquire all the Thor related items. They do not need to be worn at once, but must all be in your inventory at once when you attempt to get this title. It grants a 15% Lightning Bonus to all of your attacks.
Helmets
* Helmet of Hades
The Helmet of Hades was forged for him by the Cyclopes; it grants the wearer invisibility. As such, It grants a 40% Resistance to All Elements except neutral and a 30% Chance to avoid Attacks. As an effect, a tiny boat follows you around. This is Charon's boat, which ferries souls to the Underworld across Styx.
* Helm of Ares
As the God of War and Courage, it doesn't make sense for Ares' token item not to grant a 75% Stance Effect. It also grants a 10% to make an enraged face and +20 Attack and +20 Magic Attack. When idle, two tiny swords clash above your character's head.
* Diadem of Hera
Because of Hera's characteristic jealousy, her Helmet grants the wearer the ability to reflect damage 60% damage. Of course, you still take full damage. And it couldn't compare to other helms if it didn't grant +12 to every stat. Being married to the least faithful man in the history of history has its effect on a woman, so a small heart will break over your head when you stand still.
Face
* Odin's Beard
Odin is the chief of gods and has a long winding beard to match his infinite wisdom. Naturally, his beard grants +7 to every stat, and for every day it remains equipped, it will add three points of HP and MP. You must log in to receive the HP boost because you receive a quest to complete at midnight. A year of regular playing will yield almost 1000 HP and MP. A small crown will hover over your character.
* Minotaur's Horns
Theseus slew the Minotaur in the labyrinth, not an easy task. That guy was tough. So tough, in fact, that his horns bestow +11 STR to it wearer. Theseus being able to navigate that hellhole took crazy amounts of nimbleness, ingenuity and luck. Eleven of each, to be exact. As an abomination of nature, exclamation points pop up over your character's head.
* Odysseus' Smirk
Because of Odysseus' cleverness, this item grants +2% to every stat, and grants your character a permanent cheeky grin. A Trojan Horse will follow your character.
Eye
* Blind Prophet
Seeing through the eyes of Tiresias the Soothsayer grants you insight into male and female perspectives and grants your character the ability to see the future. A future where your enemies are all dead. This adds a 10% Instant Death Chance to all your attacks. A Male symbol will hover above you and gradually shift into a female symbol and back.
* Oedipal Torment
Being a sick incestuous bastard has its advantages. Because you have been forsaken by the gods, people are more charitable towards you. This means you get a +10% Boost in EXP and a +20% Meso Drop Boost. Your character will weep a relentless stream of tears in regret for his unforgivable sins against nature.
* Trickster's Spyglass
Son of Odin, Loki is sort of neglected. As a class clown, you're always pulling pranks on monsters. Critical pranks. In layman's terms, +20% Critical Chance is yielded upon you. Your character sports a comical jester cap.
Earrings
* Dionysian Grapes
These grape shaped earrings represent the grapevine iconic of Dionysus, who is the god of wine. Alcohol is a depressant, so every attack you make will will briefly inflict Slow and Blind on targeted monsters. Your character's cheeks will become rosy when this item is equipped.
* Siren Earworm
These earrings are shaped like musical notes, representative of the sirens Odysseus and Jason had to evade on their respective trips home. Because the song drowns out your voice of reason, your weapon defense and magic defense are reduced by 10%, but you have a 100% stance effect active. Your character has hypnotic eyes when this effect is active.
Pendants
* Necklace of Harmonia
This necklace was created by Hephaestus for Harmonia and grants eternal youth, but you are attacked by misfortune. When this item is equipped, you will gradually restore HP but your MP will sometimes randomly be reduced to one. You also gain 16 to every stat. You have a mirror floating ahead of you when this effect if active so that you may admire yourself, but it will crack on occasion.
* Brísingamen
Freyja, queen of the Norse Gods owns this amulet. It entices quite literally everyone in Norse myths, and the same is true in Maple Story. This item turns on a permanent aggro effect and +17 to every stat. This item bestows the wearer with a silver crown, as opposed to the golden on you wear accompanying Odin's Beard.
* Burning Amulet
Demeter, goddess of forests, agriculture and harvests, is, for some reason identified by a torch. I am trusting Wikipedia for this and so far it hasn't let me down, so I'm inclined to believe this is true. At any rate, the goddess of harvest will grant you a 50% Item Drop bonus and increases your chance of acquiring rare herbs as a herbalist and 15 to every stat. Wheat stalks will grow in your footsteps.
Shoulder
* Dying Viper
When Perseus slew Medusa, he took her head as a trophy. You can have your own incredibly creepy piece of this trophy! The dying snake occasionally looks at enemies and petrifies them. This equates to a 20% chance to freeze. Because Perseus a reflective surface to slay the Gordon, your character will look at a reflection of him or herself. Creepily enough, the reflection's eyes are closed and it does not sway like you do.
* Athena's Owl (1)
The owl and the snake are both symbols of Athena, but the owl is moreso renowned for wisdom, so this item will bestow it wearer with 6 INT, 6 LUK and 20 Magic Attack. Because shoulder pads do not appear on your character, this item's effect is an owl perched on your character's shoulder. If you are wearing that cash shop item thing with the hawk, your game crashes. BONUS EFFECT!
* Athena's Snake (2)
The owl and the snake are both symbols of Athena, but the snake is cunning. And poisonous and deadly and pomegranate. This item grants you 6 STR, 6 DEX and 13 Weapon Attack. Because shoulder pads do not appear on your character, this item's effect is a snake on your shoulder. If you are wearing that cash shop item thing with the hawk, your game crashes. BONUS EFFECT!
Tops
* Nyx' Tunic
Nyx is a primordial Greek deity of the night. She existed before the gods, the titans, and even Gaia, Kronos, Ouranos and the like. Wearing this item lets you return to the beginning of your career, so you will not lose EXP upon death. This item also grants a 4% boost to every stat. A small moon will hover over your character, much like the similar NX effect.
* Golden Fleece
Retrieved by Jason, leader of the Argonauts. He had to retrieve this item for his rightful place on the throne. As royalty, whenever you gain a personality stat, it will effectively be tripled. The Argo will hover behind you when this skill is equipped.
Bottoms
* Erebus' Kilt
Consort of Nyx, Erebus is the primordial Greek deity of darkness. He existed before the gods, the titans, and even Gaia, Kronos, Ouranos and the like. With spectacular cosmic bottom wear like this, the MP cost to use skills is reduced by 2/3rds, and you gain +3% to every stat. When you use this item, the effect is a bunch o stars above your head. If you wear this item with Nyx's Tunic, however, a sun will hover above your head, as Nyx and Erebus fathered Aether, the light, and Hemera, the day.
* Centaur Hind
Four legs are better than one! I'm sure you all know what a centaur is. This item causes your speed to jump straight to 150% and your jump to speed straight to 130%. The effect is a scroll that unravels over your head, then ties itself back up, indicative of the scholarly Chiron.
Overalls
* Herculean Armor
The legendary armor of Hercules has somehow come into your possession. Because of his invulnerability, Heracles never tires. This will equate to a 70% chance to survive with one hit point if an attack would otherwise bring you to death. It also adds 20% damage to all of your attacks. Cattle follow your character. Perhaps they were from the Augean stables?
* Olympian Dress Code
The iconic toga of ancient Greece, much like those worn by Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Ptolemy Euclid, Homer and pretty much everyone who has ever been a pedophile who helped shaped the modern world. Your wisdom knows no bounds and your stats know no lack of a 5% boost. Your character is housed in a small temple-type thing. I can't bee bothered to look up what they are called.
Shoes
* Seven League Boots
This item shows up in many European folktales. Every step lets you travel 21 miles / 35 kilometers. With a Maple bonus to match, you can jump up and double tap the left or right arrow keeps to be sling-shotted in that direction. Since you move one league per color of the rainbow, a seven colored streak follows you.
* The Talaria
The winged boots of Hermes, courier of the gods and patron of wanderers and thieves. This item grants you two extra midair jumps and extends the length of Rush, Teleport, Flash Jump and increase the speed granted by Thrust and Dash. Skills like Soul Rush, Jaguar Jump, Rocket Boost, Combat Step and Teleport (Blaze Wizard, Battle Mage, Evan) and all of the DB skills are unaffected because fuck you, that's why.
* Achilles' Heel
Achilles was invulnerable, except for his heel. This item comically depicts the arrow that killed him stuck in your character's foot. It reduces your speed but it increases your HP by 10% and increases your weapon and magic defense by 30%. You get a rotating protective shield around you, much like the one you can acquire in the Mu Lung Dojo.
Gloves
* Thunderer's Gauntlets
Thor, however powerful he was, needed to use these epic gloves to wield Mjolnir.
* Hands of Fate
The Fates were deities that shared a single eye and tended to the threads of life. Now you get their crazy hands!
Rings
* Draupnir
This is Odin's arm ring. Every nine days, it magically generated eight more Draupnir. Those Draupnir would each go on to make eight more Draupnir, and so on, and so forth/

Odin's sword. It was pulled from a tree and later used to kill Fanfir.

Thor's magical sledgehammer of sledgehammering.
* Hephaestus' Hammer (2h Hammer)
Used by the lame, but skilled blacksmith of blacksmiths, Hephaestus, who forged many of the most powerful items in Greek Mythology.

The staff of righteous sea king, Poseidon. F*** yeah, Sea King!
* Soul Harvester (Polearm)
The scythe used by the Grim Reaper and possibly the weapon of Death, the fourth horseman of the apocalypse.

One of Zeus' very own bolts of lightning.
